This is well worth a visit. There have been major improvements with the Verdant Works and I can recommend it as a premier Visitor Attraction

Excellent museum for anyone who is visiting the city (or from the city) and wants to find out more about it's history. Lots of information, interesting artefacts and plenty of interactive displays to keep kids happy.

Despite living very near this gem of a museum for years, this was our first visit. The staff welcoming us couldn't have been nicer. The museum is wonderful - a side of Dundee I'd heard about but never understood until today. Fascinating. Go on a Saturday or a Wednesday, and you might be lucky enough to meet Lily. A wonderful... This was a combined ticket with the Discovery exhibition, and it's a leisurely 15 minute stroll up the hill to the museum, so easy to find despite the V & A building works in progress. Again, expectations were mixed before we arrived but this is a wonderful chance to revisit what had been an actual Jute factory with very little... More

We took our time and worked our way round the museum. Mix of information boards, videos, interactive displays. Found it really interesting, learnt quite a few new things and thought the way the museum was set out was really good. Well worth a visit. Especially if you want to learn something new.

Decided to take a few friends who were visiting me here in Dundee. Despite having been many times I never tire of this place it is a must see if visiting Dundee and suitable for all ages. staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. You can save money by buying a 'double ticket' for entry to Verdant and the Discovery boat.

we had the combined ticket for Discovery and The Verdant works which is great value. Good cafe and facilities at both venues. Worth a visit

Excellent museum, so much information about the city in the days of the Jute industry. Very well laid out and helpful staff with good cafe for refreshments at the end of our visit.
