I couldn't use a car when I was in Dundee, so I walked to The Dundlee Law from the railway station; took maybe about 50 minutes or so, would've probably been a bit faster if the roads weren't covered in snow and ice. In fact, it was actually a bit hard to walk the stairs to get to the top... More

Great on a clear day or night and its free! You get to see all of Dundee from a Birdseye view. If you fancy more of an active trip, park at the bottom of the law and have a walk up, there are multiple viewing points on the way up which are great for a picnic.

It is always a nice experience to get up to a viewing point like this. You get a fantastic view over the city, unfortunately the weather was a bit cloudy when we went up.

The Dundee Law, a volcanic plug, is a wonderful experience in the beautiful city of Dundee. Walk up the paths or drive up the spiralling road to the top and you are rewarded with spectacular views of Dundee, Angus, Fife and you can see mountains 40 miles away on a clear day. An ideal time to have binoculars and camera... More

The Dundee Law is an extinct Volcano's core plug, from the Northern side it looks like a small insignificant hillock, from the southern side it dominates the skyline. If you want to see for 30-40 miles then this is the place to go! The road winds its way up/down in one long spiral with occasional little lay-by's, but for get... More

One of the very few attractions in Dundee. Its a nice walk upto the top on a sunny day and the views it offers are splendid. I often walk up there to see sunsets or take photos of clouds and rain.

Get lovely views of Dundee and the Tay river. If you walk up it's a pretty nice walk, and also a good way to burn an extra few calories. On a good day you can see quite far away so it's a nice place to visit.

The Lawhill is a fantastic place to see amazing views around Dundee and Tayside. An old extinct volcano that provides a tough walk to the top! Or there are plenty parking spaces if you fancy the easy option!! The Lawhill is access able from the Hilltown, an area found at the back of the Wellgate shopping centre! Or just find... More
