Played here again for the first time in years at a corporate day last week. Excellent facilities and the course remains of a high standard. There's a few areas of the course under repair but mainly because of tree management works and the heavy rainfall lately. Good meals and well organised throughout the day. I'll be voting to have the... More

This course is hidden away in Dundee, with many of the holes tree lined but fairly forgiving, there was a lot of course management being implemented from sanding the greens to tree work, so the greens will be superb in a few weeks. The holes varied a lot with a few moderate climbes but the holes looked beautiful from the... More

Wonderful Golf Course but could be even better with a bit of work. Very busy usually. Some great holes (7th, 11th, 15th) that will test every golfer from the back tees. Well worth a visit.

We played Downfield for the second time in September. The course is a lovely, tree-lined parkland challenge with interesting holes on front and back. The course will challenge the low handicap player, but is playable for the mid-handicapper as well. A well-stock pro shop and pleasant clubhouse complete the facilities.

Very nice course - not easy. Day was spoiled by one Member of the Club who was rude as we went out on our 2nd. round 10 minutes late. The food in the Clubhouse was very good. The Professional was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely play there again if given the opportunity

I have played a few courses in this area and this is one of my favourites. The course is challenging. The staff in the clubhouse are very friendly and the food is good

The Downfield course provides a good test of golf with several interesting holes. It was in reasonable condition but many parts of the course were untidy and in need of attention. We completed our round late in the evening and felt very intimidated by the number of youngsters roaming around the last few holes. After completing our round we mentioned... More

I am a 12 year old child who has played Downfield on 5 occasions I am a member of the osprey and wee piper courses at Piperdam . When visiting Downfield golf club I play off the yellow tees which I find challenging as most people would when they only hit it 150 of the tee! However I have found... More

What a nice tract ! We had an open day from the great courses of Carnoustie and St Andrews area so I decided to check this course out and I was happy I did. Beautiful layout among old growth forest land and quite a bit of rolling terrain made this experience a unique golf outing for us. I was impressed... More

When we organising a family meal for a Sunday afternoon, we took the opportunity to visit the Downfield GC for their Carvery Lunch. The fare was plenty, we were even offered seconds. The sweets (for those of us who had them) were hearty and filling. Room only for an after meal coffee or one of th emany different beers or... More
