The McManus is a great museum and gallery to while away a spare hour or two. The exhibit about the history of Dundee is very interesting whilst the exhibitions in the galleries upstairs are changed regularly, making sure there's always something of interest on view. The downstairs cafe serves a good selection of food (sandwiches, baked potatoes etc), has a... More

A truly wonderful Victorian gothic building, beautifully restored, houses an varied collection. Imaginative, modern displays and a good cafe make this well worth a visit.

The building itself is beautiful, designed by Gilbert Scott, architect of St Pancras Station in London it is the... More

Found it by accident. Free entry. So much to see, it was very interesting! Included lots of local information. Had an art gallery too. The cafe smelt, and looked good but we resisted.

Good cafe facilities for both visitors to the museum and for passers-by. Uninspiring but adequate menu, pleasant staff and reasonable prices. A useful addition to the McManus.
