Great museum!

I had a great time at this museum. Particularly, I loved the ground floor with the history of Dundee. The cafe is great too.

Always something good on the Specials board. Also able to browse around the gift shop and then have a slow preamble around the museum

Visited the McManus Gallery & Museum and what a wonderful attraction. Well laid out and everything is clearly labelled. You could spend days here and still be amazed by the range of exhibits. Immaculately clear and a joy for the visitor.

I used to love this place when I was younger but its been all renovated and it dose look good and the exhibits are great but it will never be the same for me, its to unauthentic now as everything is in glass cases all lined up. Before it was as if you were really there back in time.

This museum recently refurbished has a stunning array of items from Dundee and the surrounding area. There is a small gift shop, willing staff are on hand to answer your questions.

I enjoyed this more than i expected, it has the usual boring (for me granted) row and row of picture of old bloke / women / landscape but also had the story of Dundee and how it became what it is today. It's free so very low risk :)

Went to the Shackelton and Suffragette event on Saturday, was very impressed with attendance. Not been in the museum for years but great to see and learn lots about Dundee.

Nice building, (a favourite with locals). Whale skeleton hanging from ceiling in one of the rooms. Lots of local history, interesting for kids and adults.
