First time visit today, and we loved it. The gardens are a delight and are so well looked after and maintained. Lovely old trees, with beautiful statues and a fountain in amongst them. The deli shop was oozing tasty food treats straight from the restaurant, and Helen in the shop was a star giving us information and recommending the scones... More

it wasn't a particularly nice day and the rain clouds were never far away but we so enjoyed our visit. The gardens & walks were lovely. Stunning variety of plants all beautifully maintained. We were also captivated by the Osprey Watch centre. This was manned by an enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteer. This lovely lady kept us enthralled for almost 2... More

The garden within the walls was stunning, loads of different flowers and the birds really thrive here. Everything really immaculate. I was so relaxed having a little wander about . However the toilets were out of order and when I asked the young lady in the coffee shop she said they were locked and there were toilets in the restaurant... More

Although the mansion house no longer exists it is nice to wander round the gardens which have been lovingly and beautifully restored. Observe the osprey chicks on a live web cam and then visit the little restaurant. You won't be disappointed.
