Entry allows access to one floor of rooms, which to be fair are all interesting, but no bedrooms or kitchen etc survive from the period so don't expect to see any of these. Gardens are small but there is a nice little walk down to the Tweed river. All in all it takes about 3/4hr to do the lot and... more

We both really enjoyed our stop here. The house was beautiful both inside and out. The grounds were lovely - we did maybe a two mile circular walk, and it was pleasant and easy, with lovely views over the river. Hello, It is always a pleasure to bring a group of people to a wonderful place like Abbotsford. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the property ( that's open to visitors) is very well kept.
