I was given the two day intermediate course for a birthday present and found this to be a very fun and informative weekend of riding. One thing I would say as that the instructor (Andy in this case) was very flexible and adapted the session to suit each of the members of the group. I really feel I took a... More

In October 2011, I did the Jump Start course at Gentress with Ben and it was brilliant! Having previously done the Intermediate Course with Andy, and getting more than I'd even imagined out of it, I thought this course would be something fun and different to try. It definitely delivered. I learnt loads, even surprising myself manualling rollers and getting... More

Just spent the weekend with Ridelines on a 2 day intermediate course after my brother recommended it to me. Been mountain biking for about 3 years now and I felt my riding had plateaued to the point where I wanted to try the more difficult stuff but I was "surviving" each ride rather than enjoying it. My more experienced riding... More

Really valuable feedback, thanks. The intermediate rider is often the rider who's in most need, often able to ride most trail conditions but knowing there's scope to ride beyond their current skill level. Improving your riding technique leads to increased riding confidence and willingness to push your limits but staying in control on technical terrain, an increased ability to attack... More

Booked in for an individual lesson as I had never done any mountain biking before - ridden on roads not dirt tracks! After 3 hours with Andy I felt confident to tackle some downhill tracks I would never have tried by myself. As a teacher Andy is great and teaches practical skills step by step moving on quickly as soon... More

We really appreciate your feedback. It's great to know that within a few hours you met your own challenges and exceeded them. Even a short session can really step up your skill level with the right instruction. A great day out and a pleasure being out in the forest with you. Many thanks & hope your riding takes you to... Booked a day for my wife and I and one of our friends, we've all got new bikes this year and are at different levels. The idea was to build our confidence and ability to help us get the best from our bikes. Keith, our instructor for the day, had a good ability to watch and point out little things... More

I contacted Andy with a request for a mornings input on two specific bike skills. Both myself and my partner had been biking for a fair while so we knew exactly where our skill gap was. With this brief, Andy was able to assess our riding and coach us very effectively to get us going. A realistic end point for... More

We were a group of six adults, some with a moderate amount of mountain biking experience and some with none. We found Ridelines’ Beginners course ideal as the tuition covered lots of topics at a sensible pace with plenty of time to practice. Everyone learnt some really useful tips. Our instructor Andy’s attitude throughout the session was really positive and... More
