In the almost total absence of wind, we went kayaking gently around the bay, enjoying the clear water and occasional seal. I'm so looking forward to coming back next season :-)

Fantastic 2 hour evening fishing trip on Loch Melfort. Booked trip for my family some of whom were visiting from Japan and were desperate to catch some mackerel. We were not disappointed! The owner Mark took us out and showed us what to do and on the first drop of the line hooked two fish and ended up with over... More

My children have been desperate to do some water activities before returning home from our holidays, the organised trips are expensive for a family of 5 and don't always hold 3 boys attention so when I read about this on trip advisor I thought it we be worth a go. The hour kayak, buoyancy aid and wet suite hire was... More

Very friendly people. Lots of opportunities to try different forms of water sports and to get some training and fun at the same time. Tuition towards formal qualifications also available. Picturesque location adds to the experience. If you're lucky, you might choose the day when they're having a barbeque, great food and lots of cheery visitors.

I have been coming to Croabh Haven for 20 years and I thought it couldnt get much better. But now you can hire out a little kayak and see all the beautiful landscapes from on the water, that is if you don't mind sharing the view with a few friendly seals. After an hour of paddling around we were in... More

Can only echo other reviews. A real gem of a place, offering tremendous value. They couldn't have been more helpful. Despite us rocking up in the off season when they weren't expecting visitors they happily went out of their way to get us on the water. Spent a wonderful hour in beautiful setting paddling round a bay followed by six... More

Our family went kayaking for the first time on Tuesday. Great value for money at only £10 each, including wetsuits. The weather was beautiful, the loch was like glass and the best entertainment was the nosy seals - they swam around us, popping their heads out of the water to watch us. We couldn't have been closer. Our boys, aged... More
