This has a massive collection of military material covering every inch of its walls. If you're tracing soldier ancestors, I imagine it would be invaluable but for us it was the video that made it a worthwhile visit.

The Museum was recommended by Joe, a volunteer here, and how pleased we were to visit the attraction this morning. It has the most amazing collection of exhibits and will enthral all ages. Volunteers man the Museum and they are very proud and knowledgeable of all the contents. Entry is free but donations are necessary to fulfil the running costs... More

This is a smart clean museum. Full of interesting memorabilia. There is a great video show that a lot of effort and though has gone into. It's free (donation box but not in your face) A great place to visit in what can be a rain swept town.

Very good display of world war 1 and 2 artifacts. Interesting reading well worth a visit to read about the men and woman who played a large part in helping to secure a better future for everyone.

Despite a sign saying open this museum was closed on August 7th. What a pity because I wanted to find out about the steamer King George V on which my father served.
