In good weather this would be a perfect place to spend a day. Unfortunately we had a chilly, windy day.

Apparently used to be a nice seaside place with attractions. Now just a large beach with houses flanking it.

Very nice local beach with car park alongside. Good for watching sunsets ! On the day we visited, Mull was shrouded in storm cloud and the photos I was able to take were really atmospheric!

We thoroughly explored the beach area and I made a small watercolor while sitting on the breakwater. Local fellows gave us some insight to the area and what it was like decades ago. It was a peaceful afternoon during a hectic three week tour of the Lake District and Scotland. Several people were in the water, but it was too... More

We took a little trip to the beach and really enjoyed the peace and quiet early on a Sunday morning. Lovely views and interesting volcanic rock formations at the other side of the beach.

Small quiet beach. Free public toilets but.... Not smelly but not particularly clean. Lovely walks - didn't attempt to walk to Fort William but enjoyed walking some of the pathway and back to the beach. Enjoyed lying in the sun in the peace and quiet.

This is a nice beach close to Oban with a large pay and display car park. It's actually very strange approaching this beach through a brand new housing estate of large houses. We found a lovely sheltered spot down the side of the slip way for a picnic. The rock pools were not much to speak of. There is a... More

this little sandy bay it ideal for a brief walk and spend sometime just chilling. K.T (the dog) loved it digging, running and swimming...it was the only true sandy beach we found on the west coast all the others were shingle/stones/pebbles. It did cost to park, £1.00 for 4 hours. Toilets also available free of charge.
