A very impressive castle from the outside, interesting rooms to see inside. Our tour guide shared interesting stories and was informative. Would recommend seeing this castle.

We thought that this would be boring like many other tours we had been on at stately homes where rooms have been roped off and you were only able to look in from a far. However, we were pleasantly surprised as under careful supervision the tour guide, we... More

Very picturesque setting and knowledgable guides who bring the history of the castle to light, it having been the late Queen mother's former home.

We spent the afternoon at Glamis Castle - be aware t is not a National Trust property. We took a guided tour which was fun, informative and a good length of time (not too long for any who are not history buffs).

I'm so glad we took the time to visit this fairytale castle castle in Glamis. The drive onto the property is stunning. There are excellent parking and toilet facilities. The guide who took us on the tour was fantastic. He had so much knowledge of all aspects of the castle and it's history. What a wonderful place it must have... More

Our one hour guided tour with Carol was very informative. Italian Gardens, walled gardens were beautiful and the walk along the river back to the car park was lovely. A great day.

This was by far the best castle we have visited in Scotland and we have visited over 20 castles! Even our young children under 10 years old commented that they really enjoyed the tour! The two were guide head a BBC style of delivery and was absolutely faultless in her tour!

We visited yesterday and have to say that the castle is well worth going to. The gardens are really worth having a leisurely stroll round, the italian garden is stunning then a pleasant walk to the walled garden. The castle tour is very informative and it's nice to be able to take your time and not feel rushed walking through... More
