First let me say the day we played this course there was very little wind. We all had a ball with the experience but this is a difficult course for most to play and enjoy. On a windy day I don't know how anyone could play the course. I believe 8 holes are over 400 yards (all into the wind),... More

As a member of the Buddon Course I can only say that it is a pleasure to play and is not treated as the poor relation to the other two courses. Fantastic views and a good test of golf

As a novice golfer I really enjoyed playing the Buddon Course followed by a drink on the verandah of the Hotel

I have had the pleasure of playing the Championship and Burnside many times and the Budden for one week a few years ago when both the Championship and Budden flooded a few days before Tassie week. The Championship course is very tough, but very fair and there are no easy holes. Good play is rewarded and bad shots are punished... More

As historic as this course is, it is as punishing as they come. The out of bounds I felt, really kills your experience especially considering the close proximity to some of the fairways. I suppose my draw didn't help and perhaps I shouldv'e been more conservative of the tees with the 3 wood rather. I can't fault the weather though,... More

This was the best course I have played of the 6-7 in Scotland or England I have played. No driving range but made up for the great service from the initial check-in to the final good-bye to the caddie. I would make this the number one course to play the next time I am in Scotland.

Great golf venue!! This is a must play golf course in Scotland. I had the best caddy ever. FYI-no driving range.

Three excellent courses with a different feel to each. Quite surprising given that they interlink in the same piece of land. Really good experience for all standards of golfer -- we were very lucky with the weather -- if the wind were to be strong it would become a very stern test.

No doubt the toughest Links course in the world - but playable. In relation to other "renowned" links courses, Carnoustie is much more affordable, the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating and the caddies make this course a venue to remember. Hope to be back urgently.

Made a day of it stopping by Carnoustie and St. Andrews. The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship was in progress. It was a miserable day with the weather windy, chilly and rainy. It is a beautiful venue which I know my husband and son will want to play someday.
