It was a windy day and a little drizzle to add to the insult. This made the course even more challenging. The course is a typical links course with rather narrow fairways and deadly grouse every which way. Of course it goes without saying you have to avoid the nasty pot bunkers. Some you can see and some you find... More

We were scheduled to play Trump Scotland so we asked our agent to book another round in Aberdeen so that we would not be making the 3 hour drive from St. Andrews just to play Trump. Our agent selected Royal Aberdeen and boy were we glad he did. Out of the 7 courses we played on our trip, Royal Aberdeen... More

Old school with separate women's and men's club houses. Limited visitor times. Testy members. First tee is backed by the dining room. Tiny (but well stocked) pro shop. Hard to find. We brought kids here and it was hard to learn much for them. No fault of theirs, by the way. Service was excellent and I would come here again, just as a couple probably.

Was really looking forward to playing Royal Aberdeen Golf Course and I have to say I was very impressed. We were greeted by the head professional who took us around the facilities and welcomed us to the club. We had a bite to eat before we hit off and the staff were so friendly and very welcoming. The golf course... More

separate ladies and gents clubhouse perhaps typifies a dated approach to the modern game of golf. felt uncomfortable in the 19th hole compared with the likes of other famous golf cluibs. course was in good condition. 10th hole very poor from tee. great par-3s. played but won't be back, felt more at home across the fence at Murcar Links.
