great food, great service, fantastic views over Aberdeen, the coast and the golf course. Would highly recommend, specially after a game of golf.

A windy day did not interrupt the sheer pleasure on playing on these excellent links. A great test of golf of the back or championship tees, and for those less powerful a good challenge off the forward tees. avoid the bunkers and have a ball. Greens excellent and whilst it may lack the sea views of links courses in Ayrshire,... More

Have only been on this brilliant course once lasts year when the Walker Cup was being hosted. It opened my eyes to the very high standard facilities and it is more than capable of hosting prestigious events.

First, the golf course was all that was advertised. An excellent links course. Played with a member who guided me through the maze of dunes, hillocks and incredible greens. A very pleasant 4 hours on a difficult course from the back tees. One must remember that this is a course from another era. There is a seperate ladies club house... More

A genuine test of golf at all levels but this course is not for the beginner or high handicapper. Life's too short and golf balls are too expensive to play here unless you're feeling good about your game!

Royal Aberdeen’s classic Balgownie Links is a terrific golfing experience, especially the outward nine which many consider among the finest opening stretches is Scotland. We had the wind at our backs for the front nine and played straight into a three-club wind the entire back nine. Glad we took caddies; both were personable although one was much more knowledgeable about... More

decent course, good condition but very expensive and not very welcoming ..... an 'old school' kind of club - quite snobbish ..... like they don't really want you there .... sad really .....
