The Winter Gardens at Duthie Park are good for escaping inside to some warmth but I find the outside area quite boring. There is a vast grassy area, a play park, and canoes in the pond during summer.

Visited this park on a very rainy Saturday afternoon with 3 young children, the park was deserted, we went to the Cafe within the park for drinks & ice cream, was surprised that there is a sign up 'cash only' thought this was a bit backward, also there was not a good selection of cakes etc, think the cafe needs... 10mins walk from my grandmothers house, with wee rowing boats on one lake, lakes for sailing wee. Oats, the winter gardens where you could go to be warm and also, see lots of fantastic plants and cacti. Swings, roundabouts, slifdes, a cricket pitch, a bandstand, beautiful outdoor plants. The duthie park in the 60s and70s had everything, and still does. Visiting... More

Duthie Park is well worth visiting. The Winter gardens are worth a visit for all of the beautiful plants and it has a good cafe inside. Families can go boating on the pond and there are a couple of children's play areas.

The winter gardens are of great aesthetic quality. Aberdeen has several outstandingly beautiful gardens, including Seaton Park near Old Aberdeen

Nice park with very large grass area and a few different ponds and kids play areas. Also a large glass house which is most interesting. The restaurant is basic.

The council spent a lot of money doing up this park but has neglected two distinct areas which would ensure it would be a greater success. These are: The toilets. What a disgrace. Only one per gender in the winter gardens and no hot water. Surely a health hazard. Seemed to be a pay toilet cubicle by the boating pond... More

First visit to the park since it has been transformed, and what a difference it makes. Lovely place to relax and plenty for the kids to do.
