Excellent place for the not so young kids.

My wife and I (both elderly), visited this place for the first time. Very friendly staff and lots of hands on exhibits. I know you could be round it in a half hour but we took... read more

We had such fun; especially building a moving lego croc. Loads to see here and plenty of activities to have a go at. Thank you to all the staff who made the day !

Great fun for kids and a refreshing change from the wallet draining and mind numbing walk around nearby amusement arcades! Loads for kids to participate in here and I like the fact that kids get to learn whilst they play. Great idea and a fantastic place for kids.

Recently visited the science centre in aberdeen and was pleasantly surprised! Wasn't expecting much if i'm being honest but the amount of activities and experiments that were available was impressive! There was lots of things to interact with and bring out a competitive nature! Cafe was very nice aswell! Would recommend to anyone with half a day to fill!

My wife and I (both elderly), visited this place for the first time. Very friendly staff and lots of hands on exhibits. I know you could be round it in a half hour but we took our time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Live demonstrations and a small planetarium. Rounded it off with a bowl of soup at the cafe.... I was pretty disappointed with the dated displays that appear to have been randomly strewn about a room. Many weren't working and all seemed old and tatty. A lot of the information and instructions were faded, lop sided, laminated a4 sheets and the others were in dark areas that were difficult to read. Generally speaking the whole thing had a... More

Great place to take kids- lots of very informative, fun ways to learn about science without being a bit too much. The price was also very good value considering the prices some places charge in Aberdeen.

This is a great place to take young kids if it's wet outside. Taking them here should keep them entertained and there are live demonstrations which they can also get involved in

It's a great way to spend a few hours and keeps kids entertained whilst educating and stimulating their brains. Lots of different workshops on through out the holidays suitable for all ages. The cafe has got good food but it is spoilt a bit because staff are a wee bit unorganised. We enjoyed the overall visit and would go back... More

Took the kids for a treat before heading back to school but we were all left pretty disappointed after our day out. The exhibitions are very tired looking (some haven't changed in 10+ years) and don't draw you into them, the instructions (if there was enough light to read them!!) were rather vague for some and we found many of...
