Rather crusty but enjoyable for a short amount of time, this place was nowhere near as good as the science museum in London, and tbh the price was taking the pish. The location is also particularly awful, a rather rusty area where even the car parks are marked with the word pish, which should have and will in future act... More

We went with 4 kids aged between 3 and 8 and they all had a great time. Wasn't too busy considering it was school holidays but be quick for the talks as they fill up quick and are worth going to.

Visited satrosphere with 4yo and 2 teenagers. Was busy as to be expected in school holidays. Little one liked it but was disappointed the planetarium was out of service. Teens a bit bored until they found the careers corner then they were happy looking for their future job prospects. Needs a bit of an update, a bit tired but clean!... More

Good fun but much smaller than expected. Young kids can fill a morning or afternoon here with close supervision. The displays are quite tired but it isn't too expensive and the staff are very friendly and enthusiastic. The alien show is very enjoyable as the kids sit captivated and parents can snooze in the dark!

A good way to pass a damp summer's morning in Aberdeen! The staff were really friendly, there are many hands on activities for big and small alike. If you have a dinosaur lover in the family then there is a good section to explore here. All in all it is a good place to stimulate children's minds. Just not sure... More

We visited Satrosphere twice in a matter of days as we arrived later on in the afternoon the first time and did not manage to see all the displays/exhibits. Both times we found the staff in Satrosphere to be very welcoming and keen to help us in any way they could. Our son really seemed to enjoy himself especially as... More

A family visit with two children (5 and 3). We spent the morning there at a quieter time so plenty of opportunity to explore. Some of the displays may be a little dated but the children certainly enjoyed it, and that was the main thing. Friendly and helpful staff.

Excellent venue for children to learn in a hands on way about science. Very welcoming staff who gave talks on various topical subjects. My grandchildren all enjoyed their visit and I can't wait to take the youngest when he a wee bit older.
