Tucked away off Viewfield Road in a residential part of the city, Johnston Gardens is a beautiful, tranquil park. It's small in size, only one hectare, so you can walk around it quickly, but you may want to take longer and rest on one of the many benches or admire the pond with rustic bridges, stream and waterfall. It is... More

A wonderful hidden gem tucked away in a residential corner of the city. Highlights include the duck pond, small waterfall, multiple bridges and children's play area.

Only discovered this beautiful garden last summer whilst seeking out all the dolphins that were scattered around the city. Well maintained to a very high standard and such a lovely walk through. The garden isn't very big but certainly worth checking out.

I took my grandchildren to this park at the weekend. I had not been there for a long time and was very surprised ad delighted by the high standard. Aberdeen City used to have high standards everywhere at one time but sadly these have declined in most other parks and gardens because of a cutback in staffing levels. Although no... More

We stumbled upon these gardens when hunting for the Wild Dolphins around Aberdeen, and its fair to say we we surprised and impressed by their beauty. Hidden away in a broadly residential part of town, these gardens are an oasis of beauty and quietness. They are nktbhuge in size, but definitely worth visiting if you are in the area.

It's a lovely garden, must be glorious in the spring with all the flowers and plants, but it takes 8min to walk all around it... Pity as it's really nice

This beautiful public garden with its stream running through the middle is a pleasure to walk round, the gardens are well kept and a credit to the council.

I have visited Johnstone Gardens a few times, once when collecting the Wild Dolphins around Aberdeen, and another time finding a geocache. Both times I have been amazing at this stunning little garden hidden in the centre of Aberdeen. The garden looks as if it is out of a movie or from a foreign country. Is it so nice and... More
