Lived in Aberdeen for most of my life and only just discovered this little treasure in Aberdeen. Beautiful scenery and a great walk for an evening or summers day. It's not massive but has a good car park and great location for a romantic stroll or picnic.

Johnstone Gardens is our favourite place to visit in Aberdeen - it is small but beautiful. The pond has moorhens in residence and the flowers are quite spectacular. Most of all though the wonderful feeling of peace and quiet in this bustling city is what always brings us back. I would recommend a visit to anyone who wants to get... More

This is highly unique. A magical old fashioned fishing village 5 mins from Aberdeen centre - like a living museum. No shops etc but marvellous distraction from the city centre. You can walk and it is next to the sea and port

We've only found this park last year, but it's absolutely great. Quiet, and the scenery is excellent. Towards the far end opposite the main entrance there's a small kiddies park as well to keep the little ones entertained, that is if they're not away feeding the birds.

Johnston Gardens are tucked away in a quiet residential area in Aberdeenshire West End. It is a beautiful quiet place for a short stroll round beautiful gardens, flora and fauna extremely beautiful. There is a little stream and a large pond with ducks swimming around, a very picturesque place to visit.

I walked through Johnstone Gardens the other lunchtime. What a peaceful, tranquil place it is. You don't feel like you're in central Aberdeen at all. The gardens are well kept and presentable. Lovely spot to take a picnic and enjoy peace and quiet.

Excellent location for a stroll and catching some family photos. We have our wedding pictures taken here back in July 2005.

This is a beautiful local small park, with shrubs and perennials, bridges and a pond with birds. It is true that it is often busy with local bridal parties on a Saturday. Actually this fact was something I found fun. I used to take my young daughters on a Saturday and they loved seeing all the pretty brides and flower... More
