You can still see the serious face of a small fishing village under the jokey signage and colourful flowers. At the Harbour mouth Fittie is an interesting half hour stroll with small houses, sheds etc decorated with all sorts of knick knacks. Take your camera but also your imagination of a hard life back before the Second World War.

It's s a good place for walking near Aberdeen harbour in a sunny day. Tiny rows of wee houses represent the bygone era of Aberdeen, when oil was not found in North Sea. There are also few places to eat nearby.

Well worth a visit to see what it must have been like living in what still is, effectively a small, closed community. Changed vastly over the years as more incomers move in, but still a worthwhile place to see. Just don't be TOO nosy as you walk through. It isn't a museum - these are people's homes.

In the winter time the place looks like something from a xmass card very beautfull and the harbour is very close by... More

A very particular little village, with unusual features! All houses face minute dwellings that are now used as sheds I suppose. As one walks through the streets, one encounters gardens with different objects such as dwarfs, flags, funny notes on the doors. In short a very nice walk on a clear day! Not to do on a rainy day, as... More
