Beautifully kept gardens and glass houses lots of unusual plants and flowers. A credit to all that work there.

These botanic gardens were partly closed for repairs which was disappointing, but the bits that were open were nice enough. An OK way to pass an hour on a cold morning, but nothing more than that, really. A whole stretch of the glasshouse was dedicated to the type of pot plant I grow on my windowsill which wasn't very impressive!... More

Under cover and warm.... the Winter Gardens have something for everyone and if you get a little warm in the greenhouses, there is always the ice-cream shop just near the entrance.

My hubby and I visited here on a saturday. Excellant park for kids and walks. That particular day was hosting a wedding so we did not get into the nicest parts of the gardens so it was very boring. The limited toilets are a total mess with wet and dirty floors. This place is so not what it used to... More

Love seeing the turtles and the range on flowers on store and the bridges were a nice feature and the gift shop had some nice gifts in it.

great place to go for a wonder and especially with your kids to see the "mystery frog" that appears from beneath the pond and the "talking cactus". Lovely place - nice lunch just in the nearby restaurant too.

If you are in the Aberdeen area and have nothing much to do this is worth a visit. Has had a little work done to it and the area around it in recent years and it looks a lot better now. The cafe is not to bad and you get a fine cuppa
