This is certainly well worth a visit. There is the Cactus area with amazing specimens. There is the tropical area (very high humidity for obvious reasons) again with some amazing plants and flowers. In another part you find the stream with turtles and, for the children, a giant frog which moves when the money you throw into the pool lands... More

The Duthie Park gardens are somewhere I have fond memories of visiting as a child and they did not disappoint. Lovely to walk through (and shelter from the rain) there are many brilliant displays and more cacti than you could shake a stick at!! It even smelled just as I remembered (think a freshly watered greenhouse on a hot summers... More

Good place to visit, gardens ate kept well and you can walk along the old rail way line. The green house is also very clean and us nice to look around if the weather is poor

Aberdeen has a number of special gardens anfd this is probably the biggest. The parc is even better now and there is a new kids playground. Loved the summer partie here too. Only a few mins from the city centre

The gardens situated close to the river are beautiful and well worth a visit. Lovely grounds and at the moment the gardens are in full bloom. Plenty of parking close by, or if travelling by bus there is a bus stop outside the park. Various buses stop outside the park. Would recommend it if you are in the area.

Superb free attraction, some nice displays on offer with different themes throughout. Cacti Alley, the tropical house - very hot!! - even with a limited interest in plants, this place can keep you amused for a couple of hours. Some nice surprises such as the turtles basking in the ponds, and a sight of Nessie!

the winter gardens themselves are superb with beautifully tended plants - a huge variety of environments and lots of interest. The park has some beautiful areas including the new planting near to the river. The cafe is small but provides a useful refreshment area and there are toilet facilities too. It was lovely to see a lot of children enjoying... More

We live nearby and we visit Duthie Park quiet often with our baby. The Park and the Gardens are excellent, a real nice place to spend some time. This is not the case though with the Coffee Shop. It is probably the worst quality of coffee I have ever tried. The food is not great as well. They need to... More
