A beach so close to the bustling city center is just fabulous. Something I truthfully cannot get over. This long stretch of beach provides us with a brisk walk taking in our surroundings. Able to walk along the sand if your feeling brave or the promenade if not. Lovely in all weather! Have seen ourselves even driving here on a... More

The wife and I popped down the Aberdeen city beach while on stop over recently. The weather was wild to say the least, however it didn't stop us really enjoying our walk up and down this little treasure close to the city centre.

Fantastic beach and really accessible from the city centre. Went running along the front and enjoyed a spectacular sun rise even if a bit bracing!!! Lots of facilities and outlets so plenary to do. Small fun fair looked inviting but bed closed. If you are in town for whatever reason it's a very short walk to enjoy a great walk... More

Sometimes we head down to the beach to clear our heads after a night out. Sometimes to get breakfast on a Sunday at one of the great cafes. Sometimes to walk the dog Regardless of the reason we visit the beach almost every week its a great place to go with lots of open space and wonderful fresh air to... More

Looking for something different in the way of a tourist attraction we headed to the beach. A hidden treasure. The beach was an easy walk from our hotel; maybe a 20 minute walk from the train station. There are 2 miles or more of beach and you can walk on the promenade, the sidewalk, or on the beach. There is... More

Driving along the beach front road has marvellous views of the extensive superb beaches as well as able to watch commercial vessels entering or leaving Aberdeen harbour. There are cafes along the front along with other attractions such as skating centre and fun fair. At the end of the sea front promonade, you can make your way to views within... More

Ok Aberdeen has a great beach. But they don't really have the great weather. Like in England . But the min the sun comes out the people from Aberdeen hit the beach. You see them eating there ice cream. There 99 cones with the flake @ 150 a cone. You can buy from any of the cafés on the beach... More

Aberdeen Beach is a special place to us - where we met 42 years ago! We never tire of a trip down whether it's warm and sunny, (rarely!), or cold and overcast, (usually!). Our recent visit was during a bit of a heatwave and we were able to sit out at the Inversnecky and watch the world go by, and... More

We loved this beach with the wonderful view and easy access...took local bus to beach and it was so easy to get there...if you walk towards centre of the beach you could get some eateries and other things. Very good for a 2 hours visit
