Aberdeen Beach is a special place to us - where we met 42 years ago! We never tire of a trip down whether it's warm and sunny, (rarely!), or cold and overcast, (usually!). Our recent visit was during a bit of a heatwave and we were able to sit out at the Inversnecky and watch the world go by, and... More

We loved this beach with the wonderful view and easy access...took local bus to beach and it was so easy to get there...if you walk towards centre of the beach you could get some eateries and other things. Very good for a 2 hours visit

This is Aberdeen's pedestrian thru fare come the North East wind that would cut you in half or that elusive sun, in the rain and in the snow you will find the hardy folk with their ice-creams promenading. This is Aberdeen’s stress relief valve two miles of sand between two rivers. Few towns/ cities can boast a city beach and... More

We visit our Beach (depending on weather) as it is nice and flat when walking the prom. Its amazing the amount of people(same faces) that one sees. There are runners, walkers, doggie walkers and visitors to the city. Again it can be spoiled by litter louts and I think our own Council could spend a bit of money freshening or... More

Went for a lovely walk with the dog down the beach, bit chilli but really enjoyed it. The dog loved it.

Aberdeen beach was busy last Sunday as it was gloriously sunny and springlike. Lots of families including ours, walking along the promenade. It was nice to blow away the cobwebs and fill our lungs with bracing sea air. There are a few fast food outlets and the burnt out shell of what I think is an amusement arcade and a... More

Often missed out on a visit to Aberdeen - locals take the beach for granted and rarely appreciate what a treasure it is - even on the coldest day with the wind whipping in off the north sea dress up warm and take a walk to enjoy the wonderful fresh air. Warm up again by dropping into the Inversnecky Cafe... More

a lovely place for a jog in the morning, if your the kind of person who jogs on holiday and goes on holiday in a grey puddle in north-east Scotland, but in my opinion it's not overly fun for kids. I mean, you can build sand castles and stuff, but it's kind of feature-less, seeing as swimming in it is... More
