We went to Paul Merton's Impromptu friends on Saturday 16th May 2015. It is based roughly around the "Whose Line is it Anyway" format, but it has been developed and made much funnier. The performers are superb, the audience are actively invited to participate and the whole place rocked with laughter from start to finish. If this show comes back... More

Had a great view of band near front. Entry procedure quick and business like. Drinks at bar reasonably priced but not enough staff on to cope with audience. Overall, very good concert venue. Thanks!

Went to see Dave Gorman who was great. The theatre was easy to find. Be careful where you park the car if the show runs until 11pm. Seating was comfortable.

Has it's challenges like every other council venue in the country but is trying hard - at some point more money needs to be spent. The outside looks sameish and lacks inspiration
