His Majesty's Theatre is an elegant Edwardian theatre opened in 1906. Named after Edward VII, the son of Queen Victoria, HMT is a 1491 seat theatre spread over 4 levels. Modern additions include a purpose built box office, rehearsal space, upstairs restaurant and downstairs cafe. The theatre allegedly has a resident ghost! Jake, a stage hand reported to have died... My daughter kindly bought myself her two daughters (age 7 and 4) and their other Grandma tickets to see the Frozen Sing a Long. There were three girls on stage on Funny girl who did her best, one dressed up as Anna who was OK and one dressed up as Elssa who was not at all endearing to the crowd... More

His Majesty's Theatre in Aberdeen is the largest theatre in north-east Scotland, seating more than 1,400. The theatre is sited on Rosemount Viaduct, opposite the city's Union Terrace Gardens. It was designed by Frank Matcham and opened in 1906. On its centenary in 2006, the theatre was "twinned" with His Majesty's Theatre in Perth, Western Australia.[1] The venue was bought... More

We were entertained in fine manner by a super electric show . The members of the show were extremely professional and all in good voice .

Not a bad seat in the house, but try the stalls rows A-L. Nice and close.if I sat again in the top top balcony, I would bring binoculars. Front row in dress circle is great seating, too, in this historic, beautiful, easy to get to theatre.

Due to getting a special offer from APA for tickets, my wife and I went to see The Producers at HMT. What a good decision; a great night out and a wonderful performance. We both thoroughly enjoyed the show. HMT is a beautiful theatre and this show did justice to the surroundings. The only complaint (alluded to in the performance!)... More

Saw the above mentioned production here and while I acknowledge that this isn't a review of the show but rather the theatre that housed it I would like to say that the friendliness of the staff were a fine credit to this 1897 built historic theatre (and the home to Phantom since 1986). It contains some breathtaking decorative features and... More

We went to His Majesty's Theatre for The Nutcracker. It was amazing!!! The place is sophisticated and there is a pub room to go to while waiting for the second part of the show. It has a lot of kids friendly shows throughout the year as well.

This was my first time at His Majesty's Theatre. It is a beautiful old building, would have loved to have looked around it without all the people and see the fantastic architecture and decor. The show was a bit boring for me but my daughter loved it so that was good. I found the seating really cramped and it got... More
