As part of a xmas treat we went to see Beauty and the Beast. Overall we had a great time and the panto was hilarious (even for adults). Plenty leg room and lots of toilets! Great theatre!

Seats a bit uncomfortable but great atmosphere. Seating really down to Edwardian construction. Bar busy but can usually get served quickly. For me best seats are mid stalls.

Visited on Saturday to see Rock of Ages. The show was excellent. This is a very beautiful theatre with fabulous plasterwork and lovely marble details. Resplendent in reds and gold. We normally get the front stalls when visiting. Seats comfy and plenty legroom. The sound experience is always good as the acoustics are great. This is the nicest theatre I... More

Hubbie and I came here to see 'Rock of Ages' which was fantastic, now seen this four times. This was the first time we have visited the theatre here in Aberdeen and it was a good place for the show. Seats were comfortable and had enough leg room, very nice features up in the balconies would recommend here.

We went to watch La Cenerentola - a Scottish Opera production. It was amazing. The soloists, especially the lead mezzo were brilliant and the production in general excellent. The theatre is a fabulous building but I wish we'd paid for better seats. We were in the balcony which is very high up. I'd chosen front row but unfortunately our view... More

His Majesty's is a fantastic building with good seating and a great selection of shows throughout the year. It is a granite building which is located adjacent to Union Terrace Gardens in the center of Aberdeen. If you have spare time in the afternoon or early evening then the restraunt at the theatre is worth a visit for a nice... More

We are lucky enough to have seen plenty of performances here and it never fails to deliver. Absolutely fantastic for pantomimes as you feel as if you are on the stage as so close to the actors. We recommend it fully.

The theatre was refurbished just a few years ago, with a then state of the art sound system installed and the wonderful interior completely restored. It attracts an impressive calibre of shows, including the only UK performance of the Mark Morris dance troupe. It is very much community focused, enjoying attracting local groups to perform on the stage. I have... More

Its so nice to visit an older style theatre. The decor is in lovely. Surprisingly very comfortable seating for how old it is. Great big stage. Only let down was the bar being very limited in seating, the drinks being pricey and no fresh lemon or lime for a G n T.
