What a fantastic way to see all the sights of Londonderry, the last time I was in Derry was 1991 and it felt very strange to be taken around the Bogside in a brightly colored Noddy train looking at all the familiar sights and murals. Well worth a try.

Caught the train at the tourist center after finding out that the hop on hop off bus no longer operated. Price was 5 pounds each for a 30 minute tour. We took the road train today (just £5 each) from the Derry Tourist office and enjoyed a fantastic tour of the city including the Bogside. The guide was friendly and informative. I'd strongly recommend the trip to anyone visiting Derry.

I really think the 'guide' should be replaced by a leaflet preferably available in other languages and containing accurate information. My husband was becoming increasingly cross with the quality of the commentary and compared it very unfavourably with the informative tour of the City Walls. We saw this vehicle going around so we decided to have a go having already walked the walls. It proved to be most interesting with our guide, Leonard, making it so. His descriptions of the seige of Derry, the American "invasion" in WWll and the more recent "Troubles" brought it all to life. An excellent well spent half hour.

Tried this out today with my two boys, really enjoyed it and was surprised to learn new facts about my countries history. It was all captured in a 30 minute train ride.Both the driver and Leonard my guide were fantastic, very enthusiastic and you could sense real pride in their city. Will recommend this to others.
