Peadar O'Donnels, the home of Live traditional & contemporary music in Derry. On our premises we have 3 different bars – Peadar O’Donnells, the Gweedore Bar and Gweedore Upstairs. Peadars is known throughout the world and is a must visit location for the many tourists that flock to Derry in ever increasing numbers. We are famous for, among other things, our live music which is largely organised but has regular impromptu sessions from either local musicians or visiting performers. Whichever of our bars you would like to visit, you are guaranteed a warm welcome, a good time and the best pint of Guinness in Derry!

Okay, so we stopped to rest our legs from Walking The Walls! It was afternoon, and the place was quiet. Had some delicious brews, enjoyed the ambiance, and boogied on. Wish we were there for evening action.

I was in town visiting my cousin on my first trip to Ireland. She took my family and I to Peadar's to hear some great music and have a few pints. It was by far the best experience I've had on my visit. I'd defiantly recommend the bar if you are looking for a good time and to meet some... More

This Bar is so fantastic! It's on a bit of a hill but it's got to be the best bar in Derry. Live music usually start at 10:15pm. The bartenders are nice and the drinks are also nice and are not super pricey. This bar does not serve food but the atmosphere if one of a kind, true Irish experience.... More

A nice, lively atmosphere in the heart of Derry (or Londonderry, depending on your political leanings). Comfortable place to hear live Irish folk music and watch soccer (sorry, football).

Great traditional Irish pub. Went in for a drink and ambiance. Great dive bar as we refer to in the states.

Cool bar with a traditional look and an eclectic decor. Nice vibe across a very diverse range of locals and visitors and a genuinely friendly atmosphere. The traditional live music was great - really high quality session accompanied by some spontaneous and extremely energetic dancing! Great conclusion to a great first visit to Derry and I will definitely be back.

Had two great nights in o Donnells bar in Derry at the weekend,it was packed but staff were well up to looking after the crowd, music was as good as you would get anywhere, but on like Dublin they did not rip of people, keep it up o Donnells hope to be back soon.
