This is a lovely walk by the Foyle river, and it's about 6 miles if you do the full circle. If you drive to the walk, there are a few places to park, namely Sainsbury's and two lay-by's on the Foyle bridge. There are a few inclines, but nothing too serious, and it's a good work out. I use to do this walk every day, and loved it every time, come sun or hail...Great views over the both bridges...Only thing i always found was missing was a portaloo at the end of the new bridge, taking a drinkout with me i always found I needed a loo..

The traditional walk of the 2 bridges changed forever in 2011 when the Peace Bridge opened. Not only is this a lovely walk, its also a great fitness method, and sociable way of meeting other people
