Recent refurbishment of this Cathedral has brought significant change to the splendour of the beauty of the interior. Organ recital and ceremonies are worth attending.

Having been baptised in St Eugene's Cathedral I may be biased in thinking the Cathedral is one of the most beautiful Cathedrals in Derry. The most beautiful Cathedral. Feels like another world while inside this building. Visited it recently and the Cathedral Choir happened to be there. Dressed in blue robes with a trim of gold - was spectacular. Never heard anything like them - they sounded magnificent. Derry city is richly blessed to have such a choir.

This is a beautiful church/cathedral, and just outside the old city walls. Well worth a visit if you appreciate architecture and beautiful churches and stained glass.

We attended a family wedding at this Cathedral this past weekend and it was a perfect venue for a wedding ceremony quite beautiful. The altar especially is captivating and very ornate. The aisle is very long and the stain glass windows are amazing. The sound from the priests microphone wasn't great at times and we were sitting in the fourth... More
