This is a wonderful retreat in a busy life. A gentle walk, peace and quiet apart from birdsong. Do it and experience it for yourself!

What a stunning location and the history that goes with it (Shane's leap) make this a brilliant day out. This place has babbling streams and gushing rivers, a waterfall, still ponds and an excellent walkway around the park. The resource centre is immaculate as are the toilets. Both fit perfectly into the natural surroundings. There are picnic tables dotted around... More

This place is amazing. the wildlife and views of the surronding landscape are just out of this world. It used to two woods but now joined in the centre by a nice little cottage style visitors centre open everyday during the summer. The onsite NIEA staff are friendly and helpful and have done wonders making the place a beauty for... More

Had a lovely walk around the new upgraded paths and up to the water fall today. wonderful place to take children and is wheelchair accessible. the down side to it is the lower car park where you would access the upgrade pathways is closed from 18.30 each evening. Hopefully some sensible person will see the benefit of extending opening times... More

We had a very nice walk on the path to the waterfall. Although it is the tallest waterfall in Northern Ireland, it was not very tall or impressive, but we enjoyed our walk and had a nice, relaxing day enjoying the scenery.

If you fancy a peaceful and quiet walk amongst the threes this wee walk is a must and you can extend your walk by moving on into envy wood. The river ness is beautiful any time of the year. I walked through here in all seasons and of course it looks different every time. Go on do it.
