My friend and I and 7 boys aged from 8 - 15 years old went on the Martin Crossan tour of Derry City Walls today. John, our guide, kept us all (well most of us.... everyone except my eleven year old!!) interested. We all came away feeling better informed about recent and ancient Irish history. The free cup of tea... More

What an outstanding tour, if you are in Ireland, you simply must do this tour!! Garvin was one of the most outstanding tour guides I've ever listened too... he kept you captivated, interested and on the edge of your seat. No wonder this company is decorated with awards... the business!!

I went on the Martin McCrossan Walking Tour of Derry city walls today and I really enjoyed it. It was interesting, it was very educational and the views were gorgeous. We toured with Garvin (I think that's his name) and he was humorous and captured my attention.

My wife and I joined Martin McCrossan for his excellent walking tour of Derry's city walls. His commentary provided many details of both ancient and more recent (political) history along with insights into culture and the complex process leading to peace. The walk was well paced with little climbing after initial stages. Martin conveyed his stories with emotion, respect, humor,... More

Walked the walls this morning. Originally from Northern Ireland but never been to Derry Londonderry. I think our guides name was John apologies if I got that wrong but it was brilliant. Thank you. If you are visiting I can recommend the tour, but always look for the guides in yellow. 😃

Martin's tour of the City Walls, Cathedral and Guildhall was absolutely brilliant and despite the wind, rain and hail stones, he never faltered from ensuring we have a wonderful experience. The history of the city was set out so clearly and in a totally unbiased way, peppered with 'human' anecdotes along the way - and all done while walking backwards!... More

It was a showery morning and I'm so glad we didn't let rain put us off doing the tour with the wonderful Martin. It packs a lot into a short space of time so would be suitable for all levels of fitness. Martin's knowledge of Derry and the consideration that has clearly gone into best describing the Troubles makes this... More
