Michael was just superb. He did a tailor-made taxi tour for my wife & me, picking us up outside our B&B, then across the border to East Donegal, to do a bit of genealogy research, then finishing up with a great tour of Derry itself, ending up in the Bogside before dropping us off again. It was also great to... More

This was a most interesting and informative tour. I was in awe of his knowledge and his lovely Irish lilt. The view over Derry was amazing with the beautiful bridge in the foreground.

As part of a larger tour to the British Isles, we were fortunate to have a tour of Belfast and Derry led by Michael Cooper. Beyond being warm and personable, Michael has a voluminous knowledge of Ireland, its history and political situation. His love of Ireland is evident and we left with a huge amount of information and a beginning... More

Recently, as part of a Ritz Tours group, I was fortunate to be guided through Belfast and Derry by Michael Cooper. The depth and breadth of his knowledge of Irish history and culture are impressive and illuminating. He conveyed his information with confidence, infectious humor, and such pride in his Irish heritage that kept us captivated and curious for more... More

August 5th, 2014 Very educational tour of Belfast. Guide, Michael Cooper was very knowledgeable on the area but more importantly we received an education on Northern Ireland and the complex political situation. Michael is friendly and accomodating. If you want to know Belfast and Northern Ireland, call Michael.

I have cruised around the world and taken tours everywhere. But Michael is a stand out for his clarity, insights, knowledge of the history, and use of Irish Blarney.

Michael was for brilliant for the tour of Derry he took my family on. His first hand experiences in the troubles that occurred and his forward looking belief that despite the awful things that occurred on both sides, that a peace can and will work is very humbling. If you ever visit Derry, you should without question, book one of... More

I took my children and grandchildren to learn about my and their celtic roots this summer and we were fortunate to hire Michael Cooper for our guide in Sligo and Belfast, Ireland. He prepared so thoroughly for our time together and took us directly to the things that were so important to us. My grandmother's early history had been unclear... More

Very well organized trip! We saw many different places such as Malin Head and Doagh Famine Village. The guide is able to give a lot of interesting information and there is enough time to enjoy each location.

MIchael Cooper was an exceptional guide for our excursion to Belfast and Antrim Coast. He explained the history of Northern Ireland in a way that helped us all to set aside our preconceived ideas. His sense of humor along with his knowledge as a native of the area, was very refreshing. Our visit to Giants Causeway was such an interesting... More
