Hidden Gem

When I was working on my family tree I was amazed what information is in this library, I would also say not many people know it's there. Staff very helpful well worth a visit

This library is an excellent place to find out about your Armagh ancestors. We were shown how to use the microfiche machine with great patience. We found quite a few obituaries and were able to copy them. There was a lot more we didn't have time to use. We will be back.

If you have any interest in Irish history you would be unfortunate not to spend a while wandering around this collection of books and archives. If you are niot interested now, you will be after a visit. Very friendly staff and accessible collection.

I found this library to among the best that i have been in, the staff were more than helpful and always on hand to help with any enquires. They also have a vast knowledge of the majority of topics and can help with shortcuts as to where and how to find the information you are looking. Well set up and... More
