Always saw the park from the carriage way but didn't know how to get it. When I asked around and discovered the way I felt I was going on a mystery tour! But I wasn't disappointed - we took our bikes (we hadn't been on them for a long time) as we wanted a gentle cycle. The park was very... More

I'm a native of East Belfast and I can remember Victoria Park from the 70's right through to today, the park is always kept in a good standard, unfortunately some parts of the track round the inner island are like a bog and the outer track is in quite bad shape in places. There were many swans, but they are... More

I have visited Victoria park since I was a little girl of ten, and way back then, (1965), it had a wonderful boat pond and a swimming baths. There were boats to hire in later years, and we used to sit on the lovely grass banks and play our radios. Now it has been turned into a bird sanctuary with... More

A bit of a hidden gem, Victoria Park is well maintained and peaceful (except for the odd plane flying overhead!!) but apart foprm that, it's great for families or walking the dog. I often ride my bicycle around the park and it's a perfect route, wide enough for cyclists and pedestrians. Take time to enjoy it, I certainly do.

Been here loads walking the kids and dog. Play area is small and not great, but loads of birds, including a eronry. Frequent flyovers from the airport liven it up. Tricky to find via tiny tunnel

The circular path that takes you around the park is exactly 1 mile long,it's a nice walk with lots of birdlife on the islands. only sad thing is the disappearance of the swans. There used to be dozens but now I see just one breeding pair. The close location to Belfast City Airport is probably why they have all gone.... More

This is a nice park, great for taking dogs for a walk and also for taking kids on their bikes as they have a bike track to go around. there is also a little swing park but it is getting a wee bit run down. there are ducks but they are huge as get fed a wee bit too much.

Right at the bottom of Belfast city airport so you feel you could nearly touch the aircraft. Plenty of bird life with good toilet, bowling, bmx track and kids play area. Great for the dogs to walk
