I haven't been to this park in about 20 years. Today I had a very pleasant walk with my dog. It is good that all dogs are to be kept on leads, makes it enjoyable for everyone. I didn't have to be concerned about other dogs that might not be too sociable, I took the walk right around the pond... More

This a great venue for a walk, a run or even a cycle. Has been refurbished and newly connected to the Harbour area via the stylish Sam Thompson bridge. Pathways have been relaid and the inner island is now a pleasant walk. Those in charge should be congratulated on a fine job. The play park has also been upgraded and... More

Despite being in a bit of a 'dodgy area' the park has been completely regenerated and had great activities for kids. Its exciting for children to watch the planes fly low en route to the city airport, lots of ducks to keep kids entertained too and the new play park is fab

I had previously reviewed the park and remarked at how it had seen better days, then it was given a massive makeover. First of all it has a beautiful new bridge, beloved of cyclists like myself, it's open 24/7 and is partly lit, the old quagmire of the inner island has been resurfaced with gravel and boasts a fine selection... Always saw the park from the carriage way but didn't know how to get it. When I asked around and discovered the way I felt I was going on a mystery tour! But I wasn't disappointed - we took our bikes (we hadn't been on them for a long time) as we wanted a gentle cycle. The park was very... More

I'm a native of East Belfast and I can remember Victoria Park from the 70's right through to today, the park is always kept in a good standard, unfortunately some parts of the track round the inner island are like a bog and the outer track is in quite bad shape in places. There were many swans, but they are... More

I have visited Victoria park since I was a little girl of ten, and way back then, (1965), it had a wonderful boat pond and a swimming baths. There were boats to hire in later years, and we used to sit on the lovely grass banks and play our radios. Now it has been turned into a bird sanctuary with... More

A bit of a hidden gem, Victoria Park is well maintained and peaceful (except for the odd plane flying overhead!!) but apart foprm that, it's great for families or walking the dog. I often ride my bicycle around the park and it's a perfect route, wide enough for cyclists and pedestrians. Take time to enjoy it, I certainly do.

Been here loads walking the kids and dog. Play area is small and not great, but loads of birds, including a eronry. Frequent flyovers from the airport liven it up. Tricky to find via tiny tunnel
