Victoria park is walking distance from my office, and since my waistline started expanding more recently (with the arrival of children and the sacrifice of a gym membership), I try and walk here every day when I work in the office (weather permitting). The entrance to the park is not remotely attractive. It's an underpass under the main road from... More

I took my two youngest children here to feed the ducks and swans. They loved it. It's perfect for a walk or cycle and the wildlife is great. You can also access it from two sides and the new bridge is impressive. It's wonderful to have the park in the middle of of our City.

Great park for a wonder around , good for dog walking, but be warned the paths are a mess or some closed off which then requires walking across the football fields.

A wonderful oasis in an otherwise industrial area. Great for taking the kids to a safe path for their bikes or to walk the dog. It is well kept and feels safe. Could be better signposted from Belmont

Lovely park with the added bonus of plane watching. Saw 10 cygnets all swimming in a line. Nice benches and good paths and parking.

Myself and friends use Victoria park for going running. The park is a designated ParkRun venue, so it already has a 5k run marked out. The route is flat and even, with nice scenery around, so this makes for an enjoyable route to run.

I really like Victoria Park- interesting wildlife on the lake. The drawback for me is the noise of the aircraft taking off and landing from the nearby airport. Can be very windy due to its geographical position. Otherwise, it's a lovely park to stroll with my dog.
