Avoid like the plague, complete dump. Don't waste ur money. Tried to get in with a group of girls (who had been drinking all night) so the girls got in fine despite being blocked, and the 2 guys got turned away for being too drunk even though we only had 2 drinks before hand (funny that) so first time trying... Hi Michael, Our door security have the difficult job of enforcing a strict door policy set by us every night. Sometimes admittedly we get it wrong, but judging by your Facebook message, language in said Facebook message & Tripadvisor review 'Dump' the security may have had genuine grounds to refuse your entry. Furthermore I don't believe you're fit to make... More

Had dinner here with friends as part of a short stay in Belfast. It was recommended by a cabbie for a lively place to have a drink and watch the football. Our server was great, no request was too difficult. Food was immensely satisfying and great value. I had the languistines for starter followed by ribs and pulled pork. Total... More

Best night out in Belfast. Diverse crowd, plenty of selection behind the bar as well as an eclectic mix of music. Perfect.

1st place we aimed to go was Lavery's after looking on places to go in Belfast! Definitely worth the visit when we went on a Friday afternoon. The bar has a lot of pool tables and at 80p per play we were there for a good few hours. Good beer prices, TV screens and pool tables. what more could we... More

Easily the best place for a sociable drink in Belfast. The spirit of the month is great value for money and the new smoking area looks fantastic. Great layout, fantastic atmosphere!

Arrived at 2045 on Saturday and went to the downstairs bar which was busy but not crammed. There was music and a good atmosphere. Asked the bar staff if they were still serving food and was told next door or on the third floor. So ventured upstairs to be told they stopped Serving and all the chefs were clearing up..... More

Whether you're having food or drinks, I recommend Laverys. It's the kind of place where you could walk in to have a few drinks during the day and watch the match or you could go out and have a brilliant night at events such as Beat Connection! The drinks of the month (a different spirit and beer are on offer... More

Amazing food at just prices, everything you need in the one place - somewhere to drink beer and watch the game, a place to play pool and eat good burgers or just a night out in a club. Laverys has it all.

Probably the best venue in town - pool, grub, atmosphere, beer gardens and not to forget the wonderful staff, who are always friendly and helpful. The doormen do a fantastic job with their amiable, courteous and non-threatening approach. I visited the bar last night, Chris and Leroy on the door were especially professional and welcoming, really good craic also.Everyone was genuinely concerned when I... More
