Food here is excellent quality and great value. Wide range of traditional 'pub grub' style meals on the menu, service was brilliant, meals arrived in good time and drinks service was quick. Brilliant establishment to eat in if visiting Belfast

First time in Belfast & as a coeliac I wanted to try this place out after seeing good reviews. I am so glad I did as it was superb; menu had good choice & it was beautiful! Well presented & tasted amazing; first time I've had garlic bread that tasted so 'normal'. Great bar that offered a relaxed atmosphere downstairs... More

Put simply Lavery's is a cracking bar. Great atmosphere and service, with more sporting events shown than most other places. The food is spot on for pub grub, and there's a decent sized pool hall if you fancy a few frames.

Came here for a few drinks after the Ulster match last month and was a great afternoon. Plenty of pool tables and their beer and rum of the month offers are pretty cheap for Belfast!

I had to leave this review as I am coeliac and when I go out with friends I find it hard to get a nice meal I can enjoy that isnt bland or plain. We actually went into this bar to play pool with friends and enjoy some drinks in a lively atmosphere but could not believe it catered for... More

We went to Lavery's twice during our recent stay in Belfast. It is a very popular pub with both locals and tourists alike. Customer service was good and the atmosphere was great. It is very large and has something for everyone!

Try the steak and Guinness pie. It was so good I had it two nights in a row! If you are lucky there will be live music that starts around 10 pm. The atmosphere is great with locals stopping and chatting with you.

After being a customer of Laverys for around 11 years, I can only describe the treatment received on my latest visit as disgusting. Upon entry, my friend and I made our way to the back bar, and ordered our first drinks. After paying, my friend realised he had been short changed by £10, and brought this to the attention of... Was on my stag weekend. Got in on the friday night, and turned away from the door on the saturday because you "had to be a regular" and then got in on the sunday. Lol. But, good place for a few pints and a frame of pool.
