This is a nice market to visit. Local vendors selling food, baked goods and even locally made souvenirs . It gives you a chance to purchase your souvenirs from the local artist and if you are lucky a chance to speak directly to them. We enjoyed it so much after visiting on Saturday morning that we returned on Sunday morning for... More

Even though I live not too far away, this was my first visit to the market. We went on a Sunday so there were all types of stalls, cakes and bakes, local produce, crafts, antiques etc etc. a great choice of food and live music!! A great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Didn't really plan at all but walked in as it was near our hotel. What a wonderful surprise. A proper old fashioned market but with an extra added vibe with live music in the centre. Lots of interesting stalls with a mixture of crafts and artisan foods. We had some great coffee from one stall and after took some really... More

It's something to do on a Sunday. We had luncheon there, so we did. It was curry. Very tasty too, so it was. We then walked around the market perusing the arty things, so we did. There was loud live music. If yous like street food, framed prints, cards etc. then yous will like it here.

Really impressed with how fresh and well laid out the market now appears. Good seating areas are available along with lots of good quality & inviting eateries. Superb to see the tourists browsing over the exclusively produced goods, such as t shirts and paintings, with unique local imagery on them. Worth visiting just to take in the live music, and... Just had to go back on a recent trip as when I left the City 43 years ago the market was where you went if you wanted trouble. Luckily it has been somewhat transformed and survived the, er, modernisation of the rest of that part of Belfast (which now looks like any other UK city). Lots of different vendors and... More

I enjoy a walk round on the weekends. Great variety of stalls, food, paintings, crafts and many other things. Cafes & snack bars are marvellous.

St George's Market is a great place to wander around especially if the weather isn't great. The atmosphere on Sunday is brilliant wil live music and a fantastic mixture of stalls. Everything from fruit and veg to home made cup cakes, hand made craft items, souvenirs, fresh meat and various food stalls.
