What a lovely day out. We went on a Sunday and I think they do different merchandise and food on different day so worth checking before you go. We parked at the Victoria centre car park which is very expensive but there was no street parking and we wanted somewhere close. Just loved this market. Lots of authentic local artists... More

We actually stumbled across this place on the way from the train station to our hotel in Belfast Centre, and I'm so glad we did. The selection of vendors is really diverse. There are grocers, fish mongers, butchers, artisans, and food vendors. You can easily find a delicious ulster fry or bap if you're looking for breakfast or brunch. There's... More

As soon as you walked it in was the epitome of irishness! Seating area in the middle was full of people clapping along to an acoustic duet singing Classic Irish songs, the atmosphere was amazing! Classic Irish soda farls and potato bread could be bought along with so much other food we were spoilt for choice! We bought burritos which... More

My girlfriend and I went here on Saturday the 16th August as we had heard alot about it. After visiting The Market at The Mill, we were a bit apprehensive. Wow! We walked in and it was massive! And packed! So many stalls that the first thing we did was come up with a strategy to view them all in... More

We visited on Sunday 17th August. What a brilliant market place this is. Be warned it does get busy and quite hot and stuffy. Such a variety of food and drink, though more local food, such as traditional Irish stew would be good. The Live music was a great touch. Definitely worth a visit :-)

The market had a great vibe with a live band playing in the centre. Lots of food to eat and stalls to view. We had the crepes which were awesome. There were a few crepe places so not sure what the others were like but ours were fantastic. Yum Yum !

We have been to the market a few times recently on a Saturday morning. There's a great selection of food on offer - both to eat there and to bring home. There's also a good selection of local crafts. Some of the prices are very reasonable indeed. I got a box of 6 cupcakes for £5 which I thought was... More

St. George's Market is very interesting. Today, a Sunday, I had a good look around. I met Louise, from Lighthouse Yarns. They had lovely meat and fish elsewhere. I enjoyed talking to people. I ordered a cushion with a sheep design on it from one of the artists.

Unexpectedly the markets were recommended to us, and what a find. The crafts on sale are almost exclusively locally handmade (no cheap imports), as well as antques and other gems (LP records from the 60s, for example). The food is fantastic (fresh fruits, vegetables, cheeses, curries, honey, jams, chutneys as well as prepared Med-Mex, Lebanese, vegetarian etc) and the live... More
