Since I am a big fan for street food , the market ( only in the weekends) offer a great choice of food such as Arabic (felafel) , Indian , Mexican and Irish. If you are in Belfast for the weekend then it is really worth visiting it.

Just a block from the Hilton, we stopped by the Market on a Sunday morning just to see what it was all about. Merchants selling fresh produce, meats, and fish and lots more. Lots of food vendors to choose from as well. We had a fine breakfast sandwich and listened to some jazz.

I spent almost four months in Belfast this year, and every week I had lunch at least one day in St. George's (most weeks I went two or three days a week). The stalls are great (best place to buy fresh fish and vegetables) and there is a lot of different food, burguers, indian, paella, cup cakes... But what I... More

They sell everything under the sun and most is like a car boot sale. There is even a mix of food stalls but £3 for a loaf of bread is excessive. There is some value to be had and lots of fresh fish.

If your looking for some breakfast or lunch in Belfast, or even just a snack go here! Great food stalls - breakfast sandwiches, cakes, brownies, crepes, fresh bread etc!! There is also craft stalls and nice pictures, jewellery and clothing too!! Enjoyed it so much we went back for breakfast twice! Can't remember what the stall was called - think... More

..... as the adverts tell you. We have family there and we had a saturday visit to the market. It was a food market with arts and crafts. So many foods from so many different nationalities. Whist there we bought fresh fish and meat from the butchers and veg for an evening meal and go so much for our money.

Really love this market. This time I visited on a Sunday which has a Crafts focus, though either Saturday or Sunday is great. Don't eat before you go. With food stalls in the centre, with seating around live music, you can have your choice of Irish breakfast through to Indian dinner or French crepes and much more - it's all... More

One of the reasons for our visit to Belfast was St. George's Market. We stayed at the Hilton to be close to the Market as we were only in Belfast for 2 days. I can happily say that the Market was everything that I dreamed it would be! It was busy and noisy and wonderful! My nose was assaulted by... More

The last time I went to St George's market must have been nearly 15 years ago. It's great to see that the market is still vibrant and busy. I bought a handmade card (which is often more expensive than the ones in the shops) as I believe in supporting our local economy, pity that there was no envelope with it,... More

What a lovely day out. We went on a Sunday and I think they do different merchandise and food on different day so worth checking before you go. We parked at the Victoria centre car park which is very expensive but there was no street parking and we wanted somewhere close. Just loved this market. Lots of authentic local artists... More
