We had a lovely time wandering around here. Lots of friendly vendors and a huge range of food / goods. Will definitely be back.

Great place to visit. Went on a Sunday morning where the emphasis is on local crafts but many other interesting stalls with local and continental food, souvenirs etc. Spent quite a while browsing old books and LPs (long playing records for the younger generation). Wish I hadn't had a full breakfast at the hotel before going as the food on... More

If you live here, a great place to shop for food. There are also many artisans offering all sorts of craft and artwork.

To believe that there are still people who live in Belfast that haven't visited ST Georges's Market makes me smile, as they still have this delight to be discovered. We visit every other Saturday to grab some fresh cooked food (ranging from Indian, Mediterranean, French and Irish) or drink to relax by the live bands performing. General market for crafts... More

A great pleasure for all senses. It made us discover some local products and enjoy a musician playing guitar in the center of the market. A beautiful and charming place which looked like paradise after the ugly and useless commercial streets where we had to walk through in the city center.

This was certainly one of our favourite, if not our favourite attraction in Belfast. Food, crafts, jewellery…it can all be found here. There was live music and a fish market and a lot of baked goods. It was a perfect way to spend a couple of hours looking around.

Far too big crowd and weird looking food, too crowded for someone with autism where it is not fair on them who cant deal in a big crowd, you can hardly understand most sellers coz they don't seem to be able to speak a world of English. It is also a game of push and shove from others. its like... More

Locals and visitors really shouldn't miss out on this experience. The Saturday and Sunday variety market must one of the best of in the UK. Local arts and crafts, fresh meat, fish, vegetables and a world of choice when it comes to eating options. Really not to be missed

Congratulations to all concerned with the Royal Visit yesterday. Still cannot believe the access we were given to The Queen and Prince Philip. The Prince even commented on my bag and asked if I was going shopping. Wonderful place to visit - not my first visit and certainly not my last. Brilliant opportunities to replenish my craft supplies.

Saw a TV programme called the hairy bikers just a few days prior to visiting Belfast for the first time. They visited the market on this programme and it looked interesting, so it was on my list of sites to visit. There were a lot of stalls including meat, fish, fruit and veg, clothes and cooked food. Had a burger... More
