Have been to Georges market regularly while up visiting family and wont miss a trip in there every time we are up . There is some lovely little stalls to grab a few gifts from the area . Though the main draw for me are the food stall for fresh/preserved locale products of all kinds which is great. There is... More

Been before and not disappointed on this visit. The craic with the guy selling clothes was classic. The food choices diverse and the coffee fine but I felt expensive especially if compared to the good value ethnic foods. I would advise that getting a nice feed some coffee, then be patient and get a table , listen to the great... More

Belfast Bap! We are a Sunday breakfast here at the vendor called Belfast Bap and it was the best thing we ate in Belfast! Aside from the bap this is a local market with lots of crafts, food, gifts and much more. At least on Sunday this was bustling market with live music and well worth a visit.

Fresh fish, cakes, art, jewellery, if I lived here I would be here spending a fortune whenever it was open. We had tea and scones ( well there was only one left) but what we had was delicious.

A must visit when in Belfast, the market is open Friday to Sunday in a lovely Victorian building. There was a great selection of stalls when we visited on a Saturday and Sunday. Lots of locally made jewellery, knitwear, arts and crafts, sold by friendly stallholders. Foodwise, there's tons of choice for carnivores and veggies, including several gluten-free stalls. Grab... Apart from being the only surviving Victorian Market in Belfast this is a great place to spend a sunday morning (also open on Friday and Saturday). Food and craft stalls, a food court and music. What more could you want? Tip: book a table in the cafe on the first floor overlooking the market and enjoy good food and drink... More

Stopped here for lunch where they have cuisine from every culture (Crepes, Burgers, Curry, Falafel, lots of homemade desserts) Most items were 3-6 pounds and the portions were huge. Highly recommend stopping here. Only open FRI, SAT, SUN.

It was just because of the rain that we fell upon this lovely market. We tasted some of the food and brought some very good coffee home. I thought Ireland was a nation of tea drinkers so a lovely surprise. I bought the most beautiful shawl in proper Irish linen. It was to be a present but I must admit... More

This is one of the stops for the hop on and hop off bus. Arts, foods and antiques. A little bit of everything. The smells were fun. There were samples for some of the foods. Only pounds were accepted, no credit cards. The bus stops and picks up right out front. If you like markets its a great place to... More
