An excellent market. Really delicious food at fair prices- had some excellent coffee, a breakfast bap with haggis, a phenomenal cupcake and other treats. Live music can be heard for free in the centre of the market and there's quite a lot of seating. Also a nice free exhibition about the history of the market and it is a beautiful... More

This is a must if you visit Belfast. We went on Sunday morning and what an absolutely fabulous experience. Live music, every type of food imaginable and scores of beautifully crafted goods.

Spent a couple of hours in St. Georges market last weekend (Easter) and found it amazing So many items for sale from hand-made clothes and excellent foodstuffs and some very entertaining music to listen to. Could have spent days just exploring the stalls and breathing in the atmosphere.

What an amazing place... Lots of quirky little stalls with quality goods for sale, amazing variety of produce (including wonderful cupcakes and bread), fantastic food stalls and great entertainment. We visited on 12th April and the two guys singing were fantastic! Highly recommended, its just a pity it's not on again before we leave. Will definitely return when we next... More

We met friends at the market on Saturday 11th April. It has a different theme each day it runs and I don't think it runs every day so best to check before you visit. On Saturdays there's a mix of craft souvenirs (pictures, t-shirts, nice silver jewellery), food including amazing traybakes and cakes, hot dishes cooked fresh, and fresh fish... More

Everything you could ever want under one roof - food, clothing, jewellery, art, crafts etc - this market has really become very strong over the last few years. An interesting and delightful day can be spent walking around St George's Market. Eclectic, exciting and a better market than you'll get anywhere else.

Not touristy not trashey just lovely. Think covent garden without the high end shops and overpriced rubbish. Just a lovely place to enjoy the finest belfast has to offer.

We have enjoyed a wander around St Georges market on both Saturdays and Sunday's. It can be crowded but has such a great atmosphere and everyone is so happy, it is a fantastic experience. I loved the music and the free tasting of olives and cheese. We had giant bacon naps for 2 pounds, they were delicious. It's a wonderful... More

We were in Belfast for the weekend for a friend's birthday party and stayed down the road in the Malmaison. Not wanting to fork out 16 quid plus per person for breakfast we went to St Georges Market which was an absolute delight. It is a combination of a meat, fish, veg market (I suspect at the expensive end of... More
