We enjoyed our visit to St Gorge's Market last Sunday. It is a very old building with beautiful architecture. The local crafts and foods were very interesting to see and taste. It is the only covered market place in Belfast. Would recommend a visit here.

We visit St Georges Market on a Sunday, maybe once every 2 months. It is always busy, with many interesting stalls, and live music. There are places to eat, and buy coffee and tea, or smoothies, it is under cover, which is good in the Belfast weather, there are toilets as well. It is better to park a little bit... More

For me this market offers the "best of Belfast". The market is opened every Friday Saturday and Sunday of each week and with each day you get to experience Belfast in three different ways. Friday's market is very much a local market, with a mix of stalls, bric a brac, food and bargains. It's noisy and friendly and a great... More

I have been here twice in quick succession on Sundays and I absolutely love this place! I think the food stalls serve some of the best produce in Ireland and all the vendors are very knowledgeable about their products. It was wonderful to see a sculptor at work carving busily into his clay while crowds milled around! I loved Mrs... More

St George's market shows what Belfast has to offer from well priced produce to local artists. Lovely atmosphere on all days. As a local I have been many times but would encourage any visitor to Belfast to call in - I doubt you'd leave empty handed! Belfast at its best!

For visitors and locals alike, a visit to St George's market is a great way to spend an hour or two. The only remaining Victorian market in Belfast offers a cosmopolitan variety of sights, sounds and smells under one roof. There is a great vibe as you browse stalls selling speciality food, arts and crafts, clothing, books and souvenir gifts... More

This lively Saturday market (which is also open on Fridays and Sundays) is well worth a visit. It's full of locals buying the very best local produce, including fresh fish and shellfish, meats and vegetables, as well as tourists taking in the sights and smells. Come along for brunch and enjoy freshly made Cuban sandwiches, paellas, curries, crepes and burgers.... More

It was a nice Sunday visit, when they have more crafts as opposed to fresh produce on Saturdays. I ended up buying a few gifts, given I'm fussy for that, it must be decent. Go on a Sunday.
