Lovely and tasty pub food served by pleasant staff. Serves a great pint of Guinness too! Ok so decor is a bit old fashioned but once you get over that then just enjoy your meal! Highly recommend the Sunday lunch too, it's really enough to last you eating until Monday night! I will return.

Went here on Sat night on Treat Ticket for fillet steak offer from Groupon. Place has definitely went downhill since we were last there 6 months ago. Staff are still friendly but meal was so disappointing. First time I have fillet steak with grissle through it. Definitely not fillet. I know the club is sold and I doubt if bar... More

As this golf club clubhouse is nearby we visit it regularly. Always a friendly welcome from the staff and other patrons. My wife, 6 year old daughter and I have never had a bad meal here. Fairly standard clubhouse menu but anything from the meat section is always good. The burgers in particular are hard to beat. Good variety and... More

Booked a meal for 4 of us on Friday evening 11 April. Special deal voucher for Steak with chips, onion rings etc, they also had 2 starters and/or 2 desserts at a special price to, I think it was £7, must say the steak was fantastic, full of flavour, as was the rest of the food, we all agreed. They... More

My parents and I went to No.19 recently for dinner on Thursday 3rd April and we were very impressed by the food we were served, the atmosphere and most importantly cost. We had 2 starters (pate and chicken goujons), 3 mains (2x lamb and 1 chicken goujon), 3 deserts (chocolate fudge cake, carrot cake and panna cotta and 3 drinks... More

We went on a Groupon offer and was pleasantly surprised by a wonderful meal. We would use these offers on a regular basis and have always felt we were not getting full value as we would be paying less than other diners not on the offer. Not at No 19 , we had a very good sized steak , cooked... More

Truly the worst meal of 2013. Please avoid and don't waste your money. The only word to describe Sunday lunch 'Disgusting'. Including packet gloopie veg soup, overdone veg, burnt Yorkie, packet gravy, butterless and unseasoned mash, packet roastie and tasteless roast beef.

I was here for lunch today for my grandmothers birthday. when our drinks were served the fizzy drinks came out already poured with no sign of the original bottle and did not taste like coca cola but a cheap non brand cola. the food was awful, chicken goujon starter would have been ok had the chicken been freshly prepared but...
