I had a close family friend visiting with his teenage daughters and was delighted when I found this tour in Spanish. Gilen was knowledgeable, captured our attention and imagination. I've done it years ago before moving to Belfast and to be honest it is a must do!

When researching the black taxi tours in Belfast for the murals I was warned numerous times not to take the taxis as they are one sided and Sinn Fein supporters, which in today's world is not as scary as it may well have been a few years ago. So to be fare I was slightly nervous about taking the tour... More

If you are in Belfast, and don't take the time to do this tour, you are denying yourself. It is a great way to get a prospective on the events that cause the conflict in Belfast. We felt well informed of views from both sides of the walls. Very interesting, and we feel better educated for this experience. Thank you!!!!

Booked the Mural taxi tour as we wanted to see the 'real' Belfast and learn more about the history. Our driver Jackie was Brilliant and made the tour very memorable. He was full of knowledge and facts and took time to explain everything to us in detail and was non biased towards what was explained and shown on the tour.... More

This is not only the best way to see parts of Belfast that you would otherwise miss but also the only way of beginning to understand the history of the 'troubles' and their repercussions today. Our guide, Kevin, was enormously knowledgeable and the tour is exceptionally good value

We were staying in West Belfast after a gig in town and decided to take the mural tour.. Our guide Conor was brilliant. I realised I hadn't taken any pictures because I was so engrossed in what he was saying. I won't easily forget the experience though. I couldn't recommend this tour enough to anyone who wants to understand the... More

This was recommended to us from a friend as a great way to learn about the history of Belfast. It is a ninety minute trip through Belfast in their famous black cabs. You stop at various locations and get out and the driver tells you the importance of the location you are at. The driver we had, Eddie, was a... More

Jimmy gave my friends and I a two-hour history lesson that was just unforgettable. Infusing historic with personal anecdotes, Jimmy painted a vivid picture of the reasons and reactions that spurred riots and violence in Belfast during the Troubles. All the while, he prioritized our safety and comfort. You have to do this tour if you're in Belfast, and you... More

This review is wee bit late, I took a "black taxi" tour of Belfast with Joe in August 2015. He was knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions I had. The tour included both sides of the wall. At many places we stopped and got out of the taxi which added so much to the experience. I highly recommend this... More

If you can, request Jimmy as your driver! Logistics: We rang up 10 minutes ahead of arriving and they were able to schedule us a 2 hour tour (but we would have done three had there been enough time!) There's less driving around and around to see the sites (it's not a big bus tour), and more driving to site... More
