What a way to take a tour! Nothing like riding in your own London type taxi on a intimate tour of West Belfast. Paddy was our guide and he spoke from personal experience about what it was like living through this period of time. A colorful intro to key characters of the time via the murals and neighborhood memorials. He... More

Last week during our day in Belfast, Paddy Kane was our guide for a journey into West Belfast. From his first handshake and greeting to me and my wife, son and daughter, we felt an immediate authenticity and bond with Paddy. My wife was so moved by Paddys mannerisms, she shed a few tears as he reminded her of her... More

We spent about 24hours in Belfast. We took the troubles tour with Gerry. There were 6 of us and we each loved the tour. Half of us were Americans and had never dwelled that in depth about Ireland's complicated recent history. Gerry was awesome! He was very knowledgeable and really eager to show us all the murals and really go... More

We travelled from Australia only knowing the basics of the troubles in NI. Bobby took us to all the points of interest and stopped and explained the history at each stop which we were easily able to follow. We left knowing so much more! He also explained history to us that has been kept "behind closed doors" and not been... More

Bobby gave us an amazing tour of the "political" parts of Belfast. Nothing was too much trouble. He was extraordinarily knowledgable, had lived through the troubles, seemed to be fair, and presented a very balanced but hard hitting account of NI's recent history. Parts of the visit were painful and left us wondering quite how all sides could have been... More

4 of us went on a morning tour with Bobby. The amount of information we learned was incredible. Bobby is a wealth of knowledge about Belfast and its history and was as funny as he was smart. Though I suspected a bit of bias coming through (who in Belfast doesn't relate to one side or the other?), I found him... More

Originally I booked a tour with Bobby. He was very responsive to all my emails while I was piecing together all the sights that I wanted to see. I loved the flexibility that having a private guide would provide. We were coming to Northern Ireland for the day from Dublin so I wanted to make the most of the day.... More
