The tour included some of the sites that we would have heard about in the news in the past, the info was very engaging, reflective and interesting . Bobby the driver was a character who's banter made the tour even more interesting. Visited both sides of the peace wall and was moved by the stories and the images. Would recommend... More

My son, Aidan, and I were looking for a cab to give us a tour and provide some historical context of "the troubles" in Belfast. We ran into Bobby Walsh near the city center who provided us with more than we could have asked for. Bobby took us in his 'black cab' through the Falls area as well as into... More

Bobby Walsh was an entertaining and dynamic tour guide with a storehouse of knowledge on the history of Belfast. We got more than our money's worth out of our tour and were entertained with his wise cracks and informed on the politics of the city. Five out of five stars for sure.

Bobby Walsh and Paddy Kane run tours that absolutely challenge your understanding of "The Troubles" and the history leading to many years of strife. While strictly neutral in his presentation, Bobby gave a brief, but entertaining and engrossing view of the history of Northern Ireland. The tour of the murals on both sides of "the wall" presented varied perspectives. Most... More

We did the tour with Bobby on NYE and learned so much about the turbulent past of this amazing city. Bobby puts a lot of passion and fun into his tour and it really opened our eyes to what went on. Plenty of stops for photos and even gave us a couple of marker pens for us to write messages... More

Was recommended this tour by a friend of mine, as a must do when visiting Belfast. I am so glad I made the decision to 'do'. We were in Belfast for one night and we wanted to do the tour the following morning, rung up the company and spoke to Bobby Walsh and 2 hours later he was there to... More

We were recommended to the black taxi tour by our concierge in Dublin prior to leaving for Belfast. It was easily one of the best 'tour-type' things we have done as a family. Gerry is extremely knowledgeable and passionate on the subject and made us feel that he had all the time in the world for us. I gained insight... More

If you go to Belfast you defenitely have to take part of one of those tours. It was one of the Highlights of our Ireland Trip. You get the chance to have a deep insight of the Troubles in Northern Ireland. Our Tour Guide and Taxi Driver Gerry was just incredible. He showed us the area where Catholics and Protestants... You want to keep it real? You want Bobby Walsh. This gentleman is the only chap I'd ever had tour me around in Belfast. My time with Bobby was top drawer. He took us to the Protestant hood, tore a strip off us for trying to over-tip, grabbed my arm roughly once when I asked a really stupid question, showed... More

Fantastic tour....our tour guide Bobby had us entertained within the first few minutes. He was extremely knowledgeable and all questions were welcome. I would highly recommend to anyone who has an interest in the troubles. It's also great value for money. One of the best tours I have ever been on. I will definitely do it again!
