I highly recommend Bobby Walsh as your guide to the Troubles in Belfast's recent past. He tailors the tour based on your level of knowledge and interest and has an amazing memory of dates, places and names. I already knew a fair bit about the Troubles and Bobby provided his detailed personal take on events in a way no book... More

We decided to go on one of the cabbie tours available after a recommendation from a friend and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We had gone into one of the tourist shops to enquire about how to book a cab tour, at which point the guy behind the counter called up a cab and within 5 minutes Bobby had turned up... More

First I would like to thank Kieran for a very informative tour, from mid afternoon on Thursday 9th April. We called from The Crum to see if Cabtours had a cab available at short notice to pick us up. Cab arrived with Kieran driving within 15 minutes. Tour was not what we had expected, instead it was one of the... More

Bobby is a walking encyclopedia about events during the troubles, he has a great passion for explaining the terrible events the city of Belfast faced during those times. We did a political murals tour with him seeing both the Republican and Loyalist sides of the peace wall, in the Falls Road and Shankill Road areas respectively. It was very interesting,... More

Booked a tour online on the back of recommendations on this site. Arranged for a hotel pick up at 9:30, Bobby arrived promptly. Gave us an idea of our itinerary and duly proceeded along the Falls Road and then Shankhill Road areas. Was exceptionally informative as well as impartial. Gave us a right insight into the troubles – whilst recalling... More

Coming to the end of a business trip, I decided to treat myself and go for a haunting tour of East Belfast where all the 'action' happened back in the day. I was picked up by Paddy, in the 'white/black taxi', and it all started from there! Because I was on my own, I obviously had all the attention, but... More

I had a good time doing this tour with Paddy Geraghty. He seemed very knowledgable about the events and things that occurred in Belfast, and also threw in a little humour. I didnt realise how many murals there actually were and it seemed like we covered a few of the main ones. Would have been nice to cover more but... More

20th Mar, picked up from the Premier Inn by Paddy. From the very first instance of meeting Paddy he had captured our attention completely. Going in to great detail even before we left the city centre the following hour n half was enthroling from start to finish. We first went into the Catholic sector stopping at many points of interest,... More
