Usually lovely food. Service isbalways questionable but last time was awful. 3 tables in after us got served before us. Food was a long wait. Got the wrong bill and no one came to ask was the food ok. Usually a great place but not sure I will be back. Food was ok.

Went there recently with friends. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and really good but non fancy ulster pub grub. If you want a plain old Ulster pub meal go here for the quality is excellent.

Was in town on business decided to eat outside of hotel, this place was recommended and I'm glad we went. Enjoyed a really tasty meal shared a chicken wing starter with my friend and salmon for main. Great value, great service I'd recommend it as a really sociable Gastro pub for eats or drinks. I'll definitely return. Don't forget to... More

Going by recent reviews needless to say I'm quite shocked. When I was here the food was outstanding. Portions a plenty and service was excellent. Very clean, stylish place with good clientele and pleasant staff. Best way to rate anything is go yourself. These reviews might be just an off day but anytime I walk past it there's always people... This place was showing the Champions League football, so we decided to eat there. Good menu, with plenty of choice, good prices as well. Bit of a mix up for my colleagues but food was good, and they had very good desserts. It was curry night the next night, and with more football on we returned. On entering despite it... More

Roast of the day is like something you would be served in school dinners!! Waitresses were too busy chatting by the bar to give any form of customer service. Real shame as used to be a lovely place for a meal.

Stopped in yesterday for tea and a coke. Gentleman serving at the bar was busy and on his own for most. Brilliant simply brilliant I offered to bring the tea outside myself on the tray but he was lovely and insisted he brought out and brought us a fresh ashtray and sorted my bill. Anytime I need a refresher on... More

Bank holiday Sunday for quiet drinks and last orders were at 8.50.... Felt this was a little early! Bar was quiet with mostly older men.

I would have expected more with so much competion in Belfast. The worst steak I have ever had, full of fat and so tough I couldnt eat it. Slow service despite early evening and not been too busy. Went back next day just for a drink as the previous days food was such a disaster, staff were uninterested when it... More

As I walked into the bar 3 young ladies were playing traditional music. Its the sort of Irish pub experience you'd like to bottle for a rainy day.Traditional music is on Thursday Friday and Saturday times vary according to the day.Good varied drink choice and friendly and funny barman.
