Have previously written an excellent review on the Kitchen Bar but have to say we were extremely disappointed this evening when we stopped by around 7-30pm looking forward to some of their usual appetising dishes. A guy resembling a chef told us no food available as a new kitchen was been fitted( a week before Christmas??) I did check on... More

Stopped in on the day of the Australia v Argentina semi final and the bar was packed as there had been a big Manchester derby on before hand. Service was really poor at the bar with a number of the staff focussing on cleaning glasses rather than serving customers. Choice of beer poor and what should be a great pub... More

Once upon a time the Kitchen Bar was an iconic pub in Belfast city centre, loved by many. A bit basic in decor but the beer, food and craic was good, and well priced. The rebuilt bar of the same name is a shadow of it's former self. Poor choice of beer and very average food. The steak pie should... More

My wife and I decided to have a drink at the Kitchen bar before our dinner. As it was Easter Saturday it was quiet,so we got a table and saw some footy as well as chatting away. Love the design

Purpose build eatery pretending its a pub. I gather its a plastic replica of a legendary but different place from 10 or so years ago that was demolished nearby. As is frustrating throughout Belfast and NI generally, NO choice of real locally crafted beers or ciders on draft. Only mass-produced stuff pretending it is "local" to the innocent and the... More

The beer on tap was disgusting and the bottled beer was out of date. The atmosphere was just after work drunkards. This is possibly the worst bar in Belfast.

Had the Sunday roast here today and it was not good at all. The roast beef was lukewarm and chewy and the rest of the trimmings where bland and tasteless. Watery veg and tasteless mashed potato and a very sorry roast potato. Service was fine, but no one asked how the food was so was not able to give feedback.... More

I had dinner here with friends on Sunday, Dec 14th. I rang earlier in the day to make a reservation; asked for 8pm but was told the kitchen closes at 8, so made it for 7pm. We arrived at 7 and were seated with menus. I left the table briefly and as soon as I came back the waitress was... More
