Roast of the day is like something you would be served in school dinners!! Waitresses were too busy chatting by the bar to give any form of customer service. Real shame as used to be a lovely place for a meal.

Stopped in yesterday for tea and a coke. Gentleman serving at the bar was busy and on his own for most. Brilliant simply brilliant I offered to bring the tea outside myself on the tray but he was lovely and insisted he brought out and brought us a fresh ashtray and sorted my bill. Anytime I need a refresher on... More

Bank holiday Sunday for quiet drinks and last orders were at 8.50.... Felt this was a little early! Bar was quiet with mostly older men.

I would have expected more with so much competion in Belfast. The worst steak I have ever had, full of fat and so tough I couldnt eat it. Slow service despite early evening and not been too busy. Went back next day just for a drink as the previous days food was such a disaster, staff were uninterested when it... More

As I walked into the bar 3 young ladies were playing traditional music. Its the sort of Irish pub experience you'd like to bottle for a rainy day.Traditional music is on Thursday Friday and Saturday times vary according to the day.Good varied drink choice and friendly and funny barman.

Four of us went to the kitchen bar for lunch, we ordered different meals and we were impressed quality and size of all the meals. The staff were helpful, friendly and professional. The cost was just about for a city bar.

I ordered the Salmon with lemon butter which came with champ, both the salmon and champ where swimming in the lemon butter, it tasted disgusting, so of course I didn't eat it and brought it into the manager and explained that it was inedible. All that was offered to me was to re-plate it, I said no thanks and tried... More

Popped in here for a few drinks on a busy Sat night. The place was very busy but we managed to get a table. I looked at the long cocktail list and chose a margarita but when I ordered it the barman said he didn't know how to make it and obviously had no intention of finding someone who could.... More

This bar can be found on the junction of Victoria Square and Upper Church Lane, opposite Bittles Bar, but was not always here. It used to on the corner of Telfair Street, which was known then as Telfair's Entry. It's an old fashioned bar, with big windows and loads of mirrors. Because of it's location, a lot of shoppers call... More
