Having visited the famous Crown next door(owned by The National Trust) on a couple of occasions we decided to pop into Robinsons as it looked promising from the outside. It was mid-afternoon and we were going to be eating soon so we decided on a quick drink and a packet of crisps. The place was suprising busy but not a... More

Had friend visiting from england. Stopped by for irish coffees. Waited nearly twenty minutes to be made and they were the worst irish coffees ever we both had ever tasted.

This pub always seems to be bustling and busy. The food and drink is very acceptable. Clearly a good place to meet in this city.

This is a complex of bars I went into the saloon area. This is nicely decorated with a relaxed atmosphere. On one of the walls is a glass case of interesting titanic memorabilia. A good place to sup a pint while the busy street outside bustles away.

Where do I start. This pub was a bad experience. My partner and I decided to have something to eat and a drink. I had beer battered fish and chips, the chips were soggy and drenched in grease, the fish was also drenched, I used a napkin to try and soak some off. It didn't make a difference, it was... More

Headed for early music, according to some reviews, and found it was disco nite between 5-7. You could barely pass thru the place. Returned later and there was a duet playing live music, good but Trad music didn't start until 11pm. Wasn't quite as packed, but the crowd was getting into it. Definitely a place to go for the craic.

This establishment is located in the vicinity of five large hotels. The front bar is actually the more attractive, but its clientele are, putting it mildly, as rough as guts. The back bar is utterly contrived to capture the tourist market. Do not be fooled. This is no more an authentic Irish bar than one you'd find in Boston or... More
