Where do I start. This pub was a bad experience. My partner and I decided to have something to eat and a drink. I had beer battered fish and chips, the chips were soggy and drenched in grease, the fish was also drenched, I used a napkin to try and soak some off. It didn't make a difference, it was... More

Headed for early music, according to some reviews, and found it was disco nite between 5-7. You could barely pass thru the place. Returned later and there was a duet playing live music, good but Trad music didn't start until 11pm. Wasn't quite as packed, but the crowd was getting into it. Definitely a place to go for the craic.

This establishment is located in the vicinity of five large hotels. The front bar is actually the more attractive, but its clientele are, putting it mildly, as rough as guts. The back bar is utterly contrived to capture the tourist market. Do not be fooled. This is no more an authentic Irish bar than one you'd find in Boston or... More

We went in search of some lively live music in Belfast, and found it in Fibber Magee's. It's an old-fashioned-style pub, although perhaps more shabby-chic then authentic, but its heart is defintely in the right place. Be prepared to make your drinks last, because they're not cheap, but if you stop for the music, you won't be disappointed. We were... More

Great pub with private booths and great, authentic feel and surroundings. Friendly staff and good location. Would recommend, and return.

Visited Robinsons on 17/4/14, decided to have a bar snack and share a bottle of wine with a friend. Robinson's is a lovely bar with loads of character, wine was delicious, but the food left a lot to be desired. My friend and I both ordered the burger. We were served a processed burger that was tasteless. The burger was... More

I love this place! Having returned from Edinburgh I was keen to visit Robinsons again. I had fond memories of the bar staff, the venue, drink selection, live music and the locals. Being central to Belfast Robinson's is the perfect venue. We visited Thursday and were blessed with live music, the darts had been on in the Odyssey so it... More

Just decided at short notice to come into the city to have a bite to eat and arrived at Robinsons. The atmosphere was very relaxed, we were greated by a friendly lady, and swiftly shown to a very nice table for two. After reviewing the menu, we decided very quickly what we were having, and both our dishes were excellent.... More
