Excellent Guide! Excellent Tour! It's the best way to discover Belfast and it's history. This is the most remarquable part of our journey to Nothern Ireland. It's great to listen to this story from a person who lived through it and knows a lot about the history and the city. We highly recommend it!

This was an excellent tour, everyone in the group (there was 16 of us, 13 of the group were youths) found it really interesting and informative. Joe talked to us about the historical context of the murals and the areas. Because we are working on a mural in our project Joe even arranged for us to meet one of the... More

Imagine exploring Belfast with a private guide who lived through the Troubles, indeed grew up and raised a family in the middle of them. Imagine first hand accounts of Belfast you've only read about, from civil rights in the 1960's to the Hunger Strikers in the 1980's to Gerry Adams and Sinn Fein's peace treaty in the 1990's. Joe was... More

This is the best tour I have done, and my favourite part of my trip to Belfast. Make sure you ask for Joe. Our hotel said he was the best in the city and they were correct. Joe was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. He told us in depth stories of the histoy of the troubles in Belfast. He even showed... More

Joe took us around, gave us a great insight into both sides of the troubles, both then and now. Really helped me put it into context. His knowledge is second-to-none, really brings it to life. Highly recommend.

Picked up at our hotel by our guide, Joe, who gave us a quality tour of the murals. Very interesting tour and would definitely recommend it to get an idea of the history of Belfast. (Joe even delivered my camera back to our hotel when I left it in the cab!)

We took a tour with Joe on May 5th. It was an excellent experience. Joe explained to us the nature of the political conflict "the troubles", as well as its impact on contemporary Northern Ireland. This was our first activity in Belfast and it helped us understand the dynamic of Ulster. Even tough it's a serious tour, Joe is funny,... More

The tour was amazing, we were just sorry that we didn't book a longer tour. Paul was very knowledgable and having lived/is living through the "war" the first hand insight is something that only a small small amount of money bought was invaluable. Value is amazing and we will book a longer tour next time we are in town. Amazballs... More

Myself and my partner visited Belfast this week and decided while on our way back to our hotel to ask the taxi driver would he be free to do the mural tour, luckily for us he was as it turned out to be the highlight of our trip! Joe was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and it was clear that he... More
