Felt like I was in an asylum.. Hard wooden seats, no drink including water or lemonade was allowed into the hall.. And the refreshments area only opened for a short period in between. There was no atmosphere; the ushers walked around making sure everyone stayed seated.. It was the most depressing concert I have ever been to in my life..... More

i have been to many events in the Ulster hall and i love it more each time i go. It is incredibly beautiful and steeped in history. The sound is amazing and as it is smaller than other venues, it makes it even more special. The last event i went to was the Retro Tea dance, which i can not recommend... More

Generally there is an interesting exhibition to see here but if not the building is worth seeing...the Hall was restored some years ago and is beautiful. There was a cafe inside until recently but sadly it seems to have closed. Tickets can be purchased here for events in the Ulster Hall and the Waterfront Hall so the front desk is... More

Experienced the Viennese concert at Ulster Hall on 9th January 2016. Great acoustics in the old theatre! Very enjoyable and comfortable.

I am giving my view on the venue and not the acts or functions that occur there. it is a fantastic old building .toilets are clean and the seating in the hall is excellent ,particularly on the balcony. I've had the pleasure of performing on the stage on different occasions and its second to none for sound and acoustics.

Went to see Ash in concert there. Good venue for this kind of events but I'd prefer different places in Belfast.

You can almost still hear the sweat covered crowds chanting "Rory" ....forget the history of political meetings this is the mother load, the apex of Belfast's need for peace.here the youth of 76,77'78 joined forces in non sectarian bliss.....alternative ulster....watch good vibrations prior to your visit and you may spontaneously pogo upon entry

We visited here recently and didn't realise until the evening of the show that the seats in Block A were unallocated and therefore we had to be early to avoid sitting behind a pillar. That was the only questionable factor of the place. The food and drink were very reasonable. The setting itself was great, lovely surroundings, handy to the... More
