A free tour around parts of the parliament buildings. Short but interesting insight into the development of Northern Irish politics, particularly for us Brits!

On entering the main gates you are amazed at the view, the long straight road rising up to the magnificent building stretching across the horizon in front of you. Entering through the main door you walk up about 10 steps to the main Hall with its staircase at the opposite end leading in the shape of the letter Y to... More

Stormont is about a 15 minute ride form the centre of Belfast: you can get there by car (free parking) or via the many tour buses. Once there, you can take a walk around the huge grounds, or go on a FREE hour-long tour of the building. We were there "out of term time", so not only did we see... More

The Stormont buildings and grounds are a lovely place to visit. We spent some time here on a recent tour of Belfast and Im really glad I did. The free tour of the building was good but only showed you two areas of the building so only do this if you have the time. The cafe is really nice as... More

The sightseeing bus that we used to explore Belfast stops at Stormont, and we decided to get off and have a look around on the spur of the moment. We're so glad we did. The building is beautiful and in the most picturesque setting. We went on a free 45 minute tour that was interesting and most informative and it... More

I love parliaments so this one was was special as it is so closely associated with the "troubles" of the 20th century. Some of its most prominent individuals are of course still active in there (Paisley/Adams etc). The guide was accurate and interacted well with us on tour. I learned a lot!

Definitely worth a visit, the scale of the grounds of Stormont are breath-taking and the marble building are memorable.

Brilliant tour with Brian! Being a tour guide myself, I thought he was great. So down to earth, banterful and neutral when it came to politics! Definitely recommend it. The building is something to be proud of :)

Nice to see this building on the hill. been here in my capacity both work and private. Marvellous building, steeped in history, with Lord Carson standing not far away. Lovely grounds. A mist see and visit if you are a traveller to NI.
