The Grand Opera House in Belfast is Northern Ireland's premier theatre, presenting a range of drama, dance, opera, comedy, musicals, pantomime, family and West End shows. Established in 1895, the theatre boasts the majestic Victorian main auditorium designed by renowned architect Frank Matcham. Extended in 2006, the original building has been joined by a striking addition to Belfast's skyline, The Baby Grand. The initiate studio is home to a smaller performance space with 100 seats. Northern Ireland's premier theatre delivers an outstanding programme of entertainment, playing host to some of the greatest names in theatre and music. The theatre boasts a wide array of popular shows; everything from opera and drama to pantomime, comedy and musicals. The Grand Opera House offers unrivalled corporate hospitality with tailored events packages and is the perfect venue for meetings, special events and conferences of all sizes. The historical theatre is one of the most unique conference venues in Belfast, catering for seminars, conferences, meetings and weddings for up to 130 people in the Baby Grand Studio. The Main Auditorium holds up to 1060 people and smaller meeting rooms are also available. The theatre bars stock a range of drinks including beer, wine and spirits, in addition to tea and coffee.

Just saw the opening night of White Christmas. Fabulous. This was our first visit inside. Oh my gosh. Spectacular!!! The musical was awesome and this place is so pretty.

Always a pleasure to go the Opera House and this time was no exception. There is a range of things to go and see, from Comedy to Ballet so you can always find something to see. Full House and great atmosphere

I went to panto in opera house Belfast it was a very good day I brought my grandchild we love to c may mcfetridge she is some actor actress u laugh from u go in to ucome out worth a go and the rest of the cast r usely very good as well and very funny

Love seeing shows here, I've never seen a bad show here..staff are great! :)..also place is small enough your seat will usually always have a great view of the stage

Never seen a poor performance at the GOH. Atmosphere always amazing in luxurious surroundings. Booking, very easy. Staff well informed and polite. Quite expensive, but worth every penny.

The day I don't get butterfly's in my tummy when I go to the Theatre that will be my last visit . There has always been something about going to the Theatre and this wonderful building Thrills from walking through the door, a warm welcome from the staff, programmes not pushed down your throat and a good choice of refreshments... Attended Swan Lake yesterday afternoon. What an amazing performance. The show was spellbinding, but I also have to say so was the venue.
