What a wonderful venue - stunning from the outside and the stage and surrounds is truly majestic. The staff are friendly and helpful (though unlike many other venues, they will bring latecomers into their seating after the performance has begun, creating a lot of disruption and nuisance). Drinks during intermissions are reasonably priced and service is quick and friendly. Sound... More

We watched a production here last Friday. Although our seats were sold as restricted view, this was not an issue. We could clearly see and hear the production. The building is impressive from the outside and if you get a chance it is worth taking a minute or two to look at the architecture from the stalls. Our seats were... More

The previous time I was here was as a student to see a movie when it was used as a cinema, which gives you an idea of how long had it been. It was pretty depressing back then but on this occasion it was really pleasing to see the changes over the years. The seats can be a bit tight... More

A wonderful setting for a superb play. One Man Two Guvnors, a laugh a minute comedy more in the slapstick style but with an excellent cast, the Ad Libbing was hilarious, and it is a show well worth going to see. The Theatre is gorgeous with comfortable seats, and very friendly staff, including the bar staff.

Usually go every year at Christmas to see the pantomime and I haven't had a bad year yet. Beautiful building in the centre of Belfast and would recommend it to any families with young children as a Christmas treat.

Saw Cinderella during my visit to Belfast. Beautiful Opera house. Tickets were one fourth the price compared to Kennedy Center in Washington DC.

Steeped in history this theatre takes your breath away from the ornate ceiling to the velvet seating. We visited to watch the Northern Ballet perform Cinderella and the dancing coupled with the surroundings was breathtaking. Remember to enter via the main doors for the floor seating and enter via the new front for the circle and upper seating. I would... More
