Went to the Sunday afternoon show of Aladdin with firiends and although not the cheapest show in town it certainally is the best venue. The stage setting is great as is the whole ambiance of the place, the staff are both polite and courteous and the little interval is just long enough to catch a snack before enjoying the second... A group of us went to the Grand Opera House recently to see Aladdin. We all agreed that it was one of the best shows we had ever been at. The cast, especially May McFetridge were brilliant. The scenery, costumes and special effects were absolutely first class. We would definitely recommend this show for both adults and children.

I love the Grand Opera House and it is such a beautiful and historic building and I try to take the kids there at least once a year - truly the stuff... More

We went to see Cinderella, organised by Alex Slater, at the time he was over the Fishermen’s Mission In Northern Ireland. We had, had a Tragedy in the family we lost The Three Michael’s {Greene’s}. They took the us down and the show was second to none, the Grand Opera House does not get the credit it so totally deserves,... More
