An excellent place to see where cultures intersect in Belfast. Bookstore with many Irish language books on offer, tourist info point, art exhibits, classes of varied sorts. I was there to see a musician friend play a gig in their intimate performance space and found staff and space very welcoming.

Culturlann located in the heart of the Gaeltacht Quarter is a bustling cultural arts centre with the Irish Language at its core. An old church transformed, a living example of Belfast's contradictions! I met a colleague there today for coffee. The coffee has really progressed there in recent years with arguably the best Americano in the West of the city... More

If you are interested in Irish literature and culture, Culturlann on the Falls Road is likely to be in your itinerary. Our group was mainly interested in lunch and we weren't disappointed. From salads to venison burgers, we all had tasty meals, and a warm welcome. None of us were able to order our food in Irish, but the staff... More

Over the last few years I would always pop in here when getting my cars serviced close by. I always look forward to the best eggs benedict I have had in all my travels. However, this time I was disappointed that my choice was not available😢 . I decided on something else which was as expected very good. The only... More

This could well be the heart of the Gaeltacht in Belfast. I had a nice coffee there whilst browsing through the books and artefacts pertaining to the Gaelic Ireland. A great place to visit.

I ate here yesterday for the second time as a party of four. The food is very reasonably priced and tasty- portion sizes are excellent also. However my main concern was the staffing. At one stage we had finished eating for 10 minutes and no one came to collect our plates. As I looked around the cafe, there were FIVE... More

I used to go to Culturlann several times a week, always took overseas visitors for a visit as the venue and the food were excellent and held many family gathering there. Unfortunately, over a year ago, the management decided to take a beautiful, colourful, individual, quirky and warm venue in a converted church and strip it of almost everything that... More

Chuaigh mé ann leis an gclann. Went there as a family and great to have service in Irish. Very vibrant place. Had lunch, which was good. Portions could have been a little bigger but quality was good. Beidh mé ar ais. I will be back.
