Follow the signs for Belfast castle. You could walk from the city centre in about 30mins but you will drive or taxi in about 10mins. The walk starts just past a small car park and before the entrance to the castle. I met people of all ages and in everything from ordinary clothes and footwear to those with walking gear... More

You can not visit Belfast, without visiting the Cave Hill Country Park, you can easily spend a couple of hours wandering the numerous paths, that stretch for miles, admiring the floral colours and maybe catch a glimpse of the local wildlife,if you are lucky, and after you weary walk, why not call into Belfast Castle and rest your weary feet, over a drink or two,or more.

Views are fantastic - real "Game of Thrones" type scenery, it's no surprise filming takes place nearby.

Took a dander up hear with my son, is was a great sunny day, and you could see Scotland. The view of Belfast was great as there was hardly a cloud in the sky. And the view of the kingdom of Mourns to the South, and Scrabo tower to the east looking down on Strangford Lough. A nice east climb... More

Rural oasis in an urban setting. Great views from here and it's always very peaceful. I think it's one of the hidden gems in the city.

This is an absolute must for Belfast. I enjoyed the hike to the top from Belfast Castle which was steep at many points. The views were spectacular. I walked around Belfast Castle and their gardens as well which are beautifully maintained. It was confusing sometimes where the route went and I ended up at the outside of the park at... More

Great for kids, although there is a charge to get into the park but not a bad price, park is spilt between older and young children which can be a bit of a pain but still worth going for the day close to Belfast Castle which is lovely to look around

Just above Belfast Castle, overlooking Belfast Lough, Cave Hill is close but feels a world away. Stunning walks but taking the forest route from Belfast Castle can be steep. Great if you want the exercise but a lot for smaller children or those averse or unable for the climb. The views are worth it though.

Food delivery was very slow despite being a simple sandwich ordered. The food was fresh but ingredients seemed cheap. No cutlery or napkin was provided despite side salad accompanying the sandwiches. I asked for a "babycino" for my four year old and was shocked to be given an adult size latte glass containing scalding hot milk.
