How I love my time spent here! It's a cinema for adults who love independent cinema, who are fed up with the smell of popcorn & prefer instead a glass of wine or beer in the cafe bar before or after the film. Please visit and you'll be hooked! So to be licensed to drink in auditorium they tell me... More

Go regularly to this very civilised private theatre . Have been member in the past. Wonderful place, great bar and chill zone. Love the art displays.. Quirky individual cinema for the calm film admirer of the regular and less popular films.

Was there last Saturday for a free screening. Christmas goodies were offered, tea, coffee, Christmas cake, mince pies and chocolate buns.. What's not to like and where else would you be so well looked after in a cinema? If you haven't visited QFT yet make it a priority for 2016!!!

I was looking forward to seeing Dr Zhivago on the big screen. The screening was obviously fully booked and perhaps overbooked. With no allocated seating it ended up with people wandering around and others being asked to move to accommodate them. The film started late with a blank screen for over 5 minutes and people getting restless. An intermission appeared... More

I love QFT! It gets all the current thoughtful English language films as well as many others from around the world. It has a lovely little bar and a nice seating area so that it's possible to arrive early and have a drink/cup of coffee before the film or have a sit down after a film to have a chat... More

The only cinema where I go to watch independent filmmaking. There is no people slurping Coke. There is no popcorn everywhere on the floor. Where do people come to watch another movie in silence and concentration.

QFT is a small cinema offering an excellent range of different types of films as well as some on general release. It has a good bar where you can relax both before and after the film.

Had the pleasure of going to see Benedict Cumberbatch in Hamlet as part of the NT Live season at The QFT today. Sold out show with an interval of 20 mins. The running time was 3hours so as you could expect there to be a number of people trying to get a coffee at the interval. The organisation of the... More

Hi – thanks for your comments. We did have a number of machine meltdowns on the day of this event so sorry for any inconvenience caused. Our front of house staff did their best and did explain to customers in advance that there would be a bit of a wait and thankfully most of the audience were understanding. Unfortunately we... More

The best thing is the programming. Lovely and comfortable place to watch films from all over the world, not just UK and USA. On any evening of almost any week of the year, from 3 or 4 films usually showing, you will be able to see something wonderful, from brand new cutting edge to absolute classics to contemporary storytelling. Check... More
