This has become our favourite cinema and we are now members too. Great comfy seats to enjoy an eclectic mix of films especially great foreign language films as well as well chosen current ones and NTL live productions. A very relaxing way to go to the cinema being able to enjoy a drink in the bar/lounge before or after the... More

One of my favourite places in Belfast. Brilliant selection of international films, friendly staff, and a cosy lounge and bar. A must if you're in Belfast and into independent films!

Brilliant independent cinema, also home to the Brian Friel Theatre. Have been to many films and a few plays in this place (most recently the brilliant play ~ Those You Pass On The Street ~ by Kabosh Theatre). A lovely, relaxed place which also hosts visual arts exhibitions and has a bar serving a full range of wines, beers, drinks... More

From time to time QFT show the odd howler, like the outdated and unpopular "Wake in Fright", but overall they get it right. Nipping into see "It's a Wonderful Life" every Christmas, as well as the big releases before they hit the mainstream makes it special. The major disappointment after the major refurb a while back was, they didn't improve... More

Everyone in Belfast loves the QFT. Almost hard to spot in an elegant terrace just beside Queens University and a universe away from modern multiplex banality. World cinema, nice décor, a bar and comfy seats,

The QFT is always my first choice for cinema. Interesting films, comfy seats and helpful staff. There is a good bar where you can get a drink or a decent cup of coffee to meet up before, or discuss the film afterwards. Buying annual membership is well worthwhile with a good discount for members. Couldn't fault it.

The QFT is the only cinema in Belfast to show culturally diverse films. It offers cinema goers a wider selection of worldwide thought provoking films.

QFT shows films that would rarely be seen elsewhere. Small and cosy theatre. Runs some workshops/lectures/talks too. A valuable asset to the Arts scene in Belfast

This cinema is great if you're looking for something a bit different. It shows a lot of different movies and does showings of classic movies as well. It also has a bar which is a bonus! Great value for money, a student ticket is only £3. Well worth a visit.
