The QFT is the only cinema in Belfast to show culturally diverse films. It offers cinema goers a wider selection of worldwide thought provoking films.

QFT shows films that would rarely be seen elsewhere. Small and cosy theatre. Runs some workshops/lectures/talks too. A valuable asset to the Arts scene in Belfast

This cinema is great if you're looking for something a bit different. It shows a lot of different movies and does showings of classic movies as well. It also has a bar which is a bonus! Great value for money, a student ticket is only £3. Well worth a visit.

I had little trouble In finding this place as it is not huge. But their programming and atmosphere are great.

A great cinema with friendly staff, obviously very much loved in the city. We were there for In The Turn and Damage, being shown as part of the Outburst Queer Arts Festival. There's a really engaging cafe bar, and as well as a cinema, there are studio theatre spaces - an excellent Festival venue. The place had got into the... More

This resource is quietly providing an excellent service with top quality shows and titles available. Anyone who likes films or even is a total 'film buff' will enjoy this theatre. Great sound, comfortable seats, clean pristine facilities and a thoroughly enjoyable, value for money night out. Well Done to Q F T.

I've been going to QFT since it opened donkey's years ago. There is always something interesting on the bill and it's just so comfortable. The bar area is a good spot to relax before a show, coffee or a glass of wine and the staff are always pleasant. Simply the best film venue in town.

You could not imagine there is a two-screen movie theater on University Square nestled in what appears to be old row houses but QFI is there, and it's awesome. With an ever changing array of new releases, independent movies, and old blockbusters that they show on occasion, it makes for a great little film community.

Love this cinema, their continued support for independent film is worthy and always nice to get a tiple before and after.
