The architecture is lovely. Nice peaceful quad, when they are working on new buildings. Good gift shop.

A nice campus in the heart of Belfast - lots of Neo-Gothic style similar to many university/college buildings from the period (mid-19th century). Lots of green area around, Botanic Garden and the new Queen's Library are just across the fence. All in all a good area to to show to visitors during a leisurely walk around the Queen's District.

Queens University was a great discovery in Belfast. We were walking back from the Ulster museum and looked to our right. We saw the beautiful building and decided to enter. We were surprised and delighted.

Again, this is one for the tick box. There isn't a lot to do. A very impressive building steeped in history but a perfect photo opp. Nice grounds. Don't forget to check out the coffee shops at either the Students Union or the Library at the back of the main University. Locally you have Botanic Gardens and the Ulster Museum... More

Worth a visit. So famous in Belfast, it's a must. Stunning building, full of history. Easy to get to, a short cab ride away from city centre

The Lanyon building, as it is properly called, is a very impressive 150 year old building, with lovely lawns in front and a pleasant quad. There's building work going on at the minute so the quad doesn't look its best. Press on through and you'll come to the striking, brand new, library, (with a dreadful wee statue outside - who... Queen's University is a spectacular building, and together with City Hall, they are the largest in Belfast. In the area are also found Botanic Gardens and Ulster Museum.

The grounds and buildings date from the early 1900's mostly but is still going expansion when I was there. Is near the Ulster Museum as well as the university.
