we did not go into the grounds or the building but admired this great building from outside. It,s magnificant, come and see.
Great to take the children for a walk and a stroll. We loved it a lot , loved exploring through the university and the kids liked looking at the buildings from afar. We imagined all the students that have been there and who studied there. Stunning university and nice too , to watch the world go by. Really loved this... More
recognized all around the world as a world class uni! great campus, halls could be a tad more luxurious but hey its student life! lots of courses avaliable!
An absolutely gorgeous university, with a magnificent grand hall and lovely grounds near the Botanical Gardens-- but alas, there is no set tour of the university, which is a shame since it would make a perfect tourist destination and improve town/gown relations. Even giving twice daily weekend tours would help.
It's a beautiful building, surrounded by lovely houses. Definitively a great place to wander near the Botanic Garden and Museum
A must if you are into educational sites like me. I just wish I studied here. Its a beautiful building in the heart of the city and has a lovely rich colour to it. Went here for university open day and was really impressed. Loved the C.S.Lewis reading room. The old building is really lovely. Want to study here now, so I will have the lovely surroundings plus the C.S.Lewis reading room!

The university was opened in 1849, and is a public research university, with over 300 degree options available. The courtyard of the main entrance is very pretty, with the Victorian architecture and large statue in the center. We did not walk... More
