Whenever in Belfast I do like to drop into the Duke of York, my clubbing days are well and truly behind me so I enjoy the live music on offer here with good beer available. There is always a friendly atmosphere and the staff are very good too.

Called in to the Duke for a quick drink with a few friends and was pleasantly surprised by the whiskey selection. enough for all palates with malts of various types and vintages. Great range and the bar staff knew their stuff. Great pub to visit if you are in Belfast and like whiskey

Enjoyed a visit to the Duke of York. Excellent service at the bar and a good range of beers. Small musical group in the corner added to the atmosphere. Good pub to pass a few hours

went here at the weekend with some mates while on a quick weekend visit. Great wee boozer. Professional bar staff and the music was great graic. The heated entry was particulary good to stand and have a gossip as the pub was packed to the rafters. All available wall and ceiling space is filled with pub mementos - we all... More

Have not been to this bar for some years but organised to meet up there with two ex work colleagues who were visiting Belfast on business. I arrived just before my friends and had time to savour the delights of this great bar as I enjoyed my first pint of Guinness. Great decor, staff and atmosphere. On ordering my pint... More

Located in a compact and "go to" part of the City. Very traditional bar with tonnes of character that seems to welcome locals and visitors alike. Loads and loads of history and this place is guaranteed to look like this in 20 years. Serves a very canny Guinness!

Found this pub walking down the cobble streets & so glad we did as it was my favourite. Different from all the others; very traditional, lots to see & great atmosphere!

Not to be missed! If you are in Belfast then you have to visit here. Hospitality fab staff welcoming and atmosphere the kind long forgotten in today's scene. Steeped with history and every space on walls, ceilings stuffed with history of the trade
