For the last 7-8 years, this has been my bar of choice when I feel like a few pints out with my friends. The atmosphere is amazing, the punters are all really friendly and diverse and the service is excellent. On a warm summer's day you can stand/sit outside on a cobblestone lane and enjoy the weather and the amazing... More

This is an amazing pub and set in a lovely little street near the Cathedral. You can spend hours just looking at the art work on the wall. If it's quiet, stand at the bar and get talking to the staff. It's an absolute MUST if you love whisky - there are shelves of bottles! We were told that they... More

From the moment you step through the door the character of this pub just eats you up. With so many old mirrors on the ceiling to beer mats on the beams and old bottles from a by gone age. This pub is how I imagine following Alice down the rabbit hole would be like :D Good drink selection and bar... More

We visited during Sunday afternoon - another very attractive and interesting pub worthy of a visit for the interior alone (hence best visited when quiet). Far more spacious than it looks, with plenty of seating. Good ales and well-kept Guinness; very acceptable Sauv Blanc for my wife. Well worth incorporating into a mini pub crawl of the immediate area. Scary... More

Visited on a Saturday night about 10pm... The place was packed standing room only and the alley outside was the same. We could only move inches at a time and eventually got to the bar but once there service was quick and efficient, now if we could only find somewhere to sit/stand and drink our pints. The patrons were dressed... More

Great place to visit , the lane that leads to it is full of character and it's a friendly, welcoming pub.only bad points. .like most Belfast bars ..it's very pricey for drinks compared to mainland. Don't they know they can get dash guns ?

You can't visit Belfast and not visit the Juke of York! It's a must to soak up the atmosphere, craic and banter. Love this place hope to get back soon!

This is why you come to ireland. You just don't find pubs like this in England. Awesome decor. Music is quiet enough so you can chat and have a laugh. Bar staff are good and prices are reasonable but it's the "Craic" that just can't be found anywhere else in the world. Inside the atmosphere is buzzing with people smiling... More
