Visiting the giant's causeway at the tail end of hurricane Gonzalo doesn't sound like a good laugh but we giggled from the very moment we were picked up in the morning. Yes the bus was a bit old and we did t leave promptly but Our driver, Kevin(or was it Jimmy Nicholl), clearly knew his stuff and had us in... More

The driver made this tour exceptional. His vast knowledge and wonderful stories kept people listening, laughing and enjoying the day. I would highly recommend this tour company.

we did this trip last Saturday and to be honest, having read previous reviews I was a little apprehensive about the quality. I need not have worried. Yes the tour started a little late (10am instead of 9.30) and yes the bus was a little "tired" but perfectly comfortable. The driver Ian gave a very entertaining and informative commentary through... Like other reviews felt we didn't have enough time in some places but understandable or else we would have been out all day and night. Really enjoyed the driver/ guides information was light hearted and intresting. Yes the bus is dated and a bit unclean but overall comfortable. The lunch stop is a little of the same but food is... We went with Allen's for their Giant's Causeway tour and had a fantastic time. Our driver couldn't have been nicer and gave great commentary throughout the trip. At the various stops he would make sure everyone was enjoying their trip and happy to answer any questions we had. We left Belfast at 10am. Our first stop was a quick photo... More

I think we must have gone on the tour the same day as the previous contributor. I do hope so or they are always very late. We arrived at Allen's office early and found roadworks in progress outside which added to the problems, The office was a little late in opening so we had full opportunity to see McCombs tours... This was the one day tour with bus company "Allen's" and although the bus was a little late, for reasons given, the driver we had taking us on this trip certainly made up for it! He was very informative, approachable if we had any questions, plus a little bit of humour which is always a nice perk. I think for... More

My son and I had the misfortune to book this tour in July. The coach was something out of a bad carry on film, filthy, torn seats and vandalised windows. We were supposed to visit Carrick Fergus Castle, Dunluce Castle, and the Bushmills Distillery, however we only stopped for about an average of 15 minutes at each and in fact... More

We did the One Day Tour which covered a visit to Carrickfergus Castle, some brief stops at towns, the Rope Bridge, and the Bushmills Distillery along the way to the tour highlight - The Giant's Causeway. The tour was a great way to get a taste of the Belfast countryside and to get the opportunity to spend plenty of time... More

I would like say a Big thank you to Allen's tours. This review has been 6 years in the writing, as it has been that long since I was there.I did the Giants Causeway tour and would recommend it to anyone, the tour guide for the day(an ex serviceman if I remember) had a very solid knowledge of the coast...
