Belfast black taxi tours: new game of thrones/causeway full day tours. As the official belfast attractions we have been offering our award winning tours for over 15 years. Even though our beautiful city is now almost unrecognisable from the bomb ravaged city of over 35 years ago, we feel it is important to help everyone understand what life in belfast was like during the dark years of ‘the troubles.’ By taking you on a tour of the now world famous hotspots, such as the republican(ira) murals of the falls road and the protestant(u.f.f &u.v.f) murals of the shankill road and by the use of important evidence such as newspapers, photos, videos and even plastic bullets we hope to paint a vivid picture of what life was like for the everyday belfast resident. You will travel in style through the back streets of our city in an old vintage london black taxi cab as our guides, who all lived through the troubles, help you understand over 800 years of british / irish political history. We offer full day giants causeway & game of thrones from your cruise ship/hotels etc.

Our driver, Paddy McDonnell, took us on an amazing journey through Belfast's history as we visited key sites of conflict during 'The Troubles' and important commemorative sites that have been developed since 1998. He was insightful and engaging, encouraged us to ask questions and had a great sense of humour to boot. This was one of the best activities I... More

Jared was incredibly knowledgeable, and by the end of our tour we felt like we finally understood "the real story" of The Troubled. Highly recommend--a must do for any Belfast visitor.

Eight of us took a Ken Harper taxi tour on Sunday morning. The cab was on time, and took us on 2 hour guided tour of Belfast. Walter the driver was knowledgeable about Belfast, Irish history, the troubles, and current events, and gave a very informative tour. He also provided some useful information regarding pubs and best routes to take... More

Booked it before we left the states. Called us the day before. David met us as planned at or residents and gave us a great all day VIP tour of GOT sites as well as Giants Causeway. Rocks, the sea and sun, Castles, trees, and whiskey....a great day!

We did the political taxi tour with Belfast Attractions. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, friendly, sensitive about the political aspects yet brutally honest if you asked him for details. It was a great education on the history of Northern Ireland and an insight into the lives of the people today. And at £30 for a 90 minute private taxi... More

This tour is an absolute "must-do" in Belfast. Gerard, our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and informative, with many personal stories. Even though his allegiances were obvious, he presented a balanced view of the "troubles". Even our 3 kids hung off every word. Highly recommend!

Had a great private tour with guide Francis. Not only was he VERY knowledgable but had a great sense of humor and fantastic attitude. We learned so much and saw so much! My wife and I were in Belfast for the first time and we had our two dear friends who live in Belfast come along. They were very impressed... More

Our driver Patch gave us a fascinating and informative tour of the Shankill and Falls neighborhoods in Belfast. Likeable, informed, patient and knowledgable with our questions.

We were staying at the Malmaison hotel (which was fabulous) and booked a taxi tour to see the Murals. I was a little sceptical whether I would enjoy the tour but I have to admit it was fabulous. Our guide, Patch, was so informative and willing to answer any questions we had. He really brought the whole thing to life...... More
