Belfast black taxi tours: new game of thrones/causeway full day tours. As the official belfast attractions we have been offering our award winning tours for over 15 years. Even though our beautiful city is now almost unrecognisable from the bomb ravaged city of over 35 years ago, we feel it is important to help everyone understand what life in belfast was like during the dark years of ‘the troubles.’ By taking you on a tour of the now world famous hotspots, such as the republican(ira) murals of the falls road and the protestant(u.f.f &u.v.f) murals of the shankill road and by the use of important evidence such as newspapers, photos, videos and even plastic bullets we hope to paint a vivid picture of what life was like for the everyday belfast resident. You will travel in style through the back streets of our city in an old vintage london black taxi cab as our guides, who all lived through the troubles, help you understand over 800 years of british / irish political history. We offer full day giants causeway & game of thrones from your cruise ship/hotels etc.

Booked a tour that morning to come a couple of hours later. Gerrard picked us up from our guest house and he gave us a very unbiased, informative tour of Belfast. It was so interesting and really opened our eyes to the history. He talked about it with real passion and first hand experience and we felt like we came... More

I love visiting Belfast and seeing it grow and change with each passing year. My girlfriend surprised me with a little break in Belfast to celebrate my birthday. We decided to book the Peace Wall and Wall Murals tour as it was something we have been meaning to do for some time. The tour was one of the highlight of... More

Great, engaging history tour with personally invested guide. This was the best tour I did in my two weeks in the UK. Gerard was knowledgable, personable, and very committed to giving a good tour. He took an extra hour with us to make sure we got a good picture of the struggles that have plagued Belfast. He even dropped us... More

Cannot recommend this tour highly enough. Brendan was chatty, informative, full of humour and impartial, and the 90 minutes flew by. A must-do in Belfast. Thanks, Brendan!

Organised this on behalf of a youth group of 20 from London. The first thing that struck me was how welcome they made the group feel. Non stop interaction and information, with plenty of fun thrown in along the way. This tour is a must for anyone visiting Belfast. Proved to be very flexible as we had to move our... More

Took this tour at the end of a short stay in Belfast. Picked us up at our hotel, and after the tour took us direct to the airport to fly home. Spent about two hours on the tour of the Falls Road/ Shankill Rd area, visiting murals and memorial gardens on both sides of the Peace Wall. Our driver, Brendan,... More

Excellent tour conducted by Joel. Impartial, stated the facts, plenty of interesting info with some Belfast humour to add. Although I'm from a very different background we found a common bond in our shared love of Irish history and general interest in the troubles. My girlfriend also found the tour intriguing and very enjoyable. Joel took his time, walked and... More
