Was in Belfast for two days and decided to take this tour. Sam was our tour guide and he was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and sincere. We toured some of the most troubled areas in Irish history and saw some murals of immense cultural importance which give you a glimpse into the conflicts that shook Belfast. I would highly recommend this... More

Visited Belfast for a short weekend and called on the off chase of them fitting us in for a tour. Paddy Campbell's was very accommodating and we managed to have a tour before returning. Stevie was our guide and was excellent. Very impartial and really gave a true story of a divided Belfast. Having lived in the city all his... More

Was told by friends that Paddy Cambell's Black Cab Tours was the one to go on. So, we booked up a tour. Charlie came out and picked us up, and proceeded to give us an un-biased tour of Belfast, going into great detail the arguments from both sides, And took us right into the heart of the 'Troubles'.. We visited... More

I have a shaky grasp on history and political current affairs at the best of times and although my husband has a better command neither of us knew much about the Troubles, for us it was something we remember from the news growing up. My husband's father also served in Northern Ireland twice during his career in the British Army,... More

Took this tour with Kieran earlier this week and like most of the other reviewers on this site found it very informative and a real eye opener of the past troubles of this city. Kieran was very engaging, polite and knowledgeable. I thought I knew a little about the troubles but quickly realised how little I did know. If you... More

Robert our guide gave a fascinating insight to the Troubles in Belfast. Covering the Shankill and Falls Road murals and memorials, Robert gave equal coverage to both sides. I signed the peace wall and learned so much more than I anticipated about how the Troubles affected both communities and how they are still living. In 2015 I am amazed that... More

One of the specific reasons I visited Belfast was to see the amazing murals that populate the city and display the city's turbulent history. Stevie was a marvelous guide and was both illuminating and impartial. It was indescribable witnessing the stories and emotions relayed in these paintings created by the people who experienced them. It was like witnessing living history.... More

On advice from a friend we hired Paddy Campbell's Black Taxi Tours for a private tour. The day prior we had done an amazing tour (with Danny) of the Shankill and Falls Road areas of Belfast. When we inquired about an all day tour to the Northern Coast he recommended a fellow driver. Kieran #2 was the absolute best recommendation!!!... More
