Friends recommended this company and it was well worth the time. Our driver, Sam, provided an incredible amount of history about Ireland and Belfast in particular. He presented the issues from both sides in a balanced fashion, but the overall tone focused on the strides that have been made in the last few years and an optimism about the future.... More

I'm a native of Belfast and thought I knew my city history quite well! I was wrong! I arranged a black cab tour of Belfast for a visiting American friend and was over whelmed by the tour which visited numerous sites in the Shankill and Falls areas. Our driver Robert was great from start to finish - friendly, informative, passionate... More

Pat took us on the Black Cab Tour to see the murals in the Protestant area and the Memorial Garden in the Catholic area, plus the gates that divide the two areas. We watched this conflict on USA television in the 60s and 70s but didn't really understand the problems until now. We added our signatures to the 3 mile... More

First ask in the reservation for a real one Black Cab. They are bigger and the windows are better to see . Request a driver who speaks "english for tourists " because some of them had an accent very difficult to understand. Doing this, you will have an wonderful explanation about the conflict history , you will see the main... More

Having spent the morning with Stevie from black cab tours I now understand much more of the recent history of Belfast. The sights are one thing, but he brought personal experience to the tour which made it all the more poignant. A must do in Belfast.

This tour is a must do for anyone who is interested in learning about the history of conflict in Northern Island and Belfast. Our tour was delivered by Sam, a very personable and knowledgable guide, who led us through the Protestant and Catholic areas of Belfast where many of the conflicts have occurred and explained the process which culminated in... We had our children aged 7 and 4 with us on our "political" tour - Charlie was terrific at giving us all the information without it scaring the kids. He was informative, passionate and explained things in a way that we could understand - he was open to questions, he obviously loves his job and if I am ever back... More
