We took a party of Beaver Scouts on a visit over Half Term and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves! Our host was excellent with the children and they all learned a great deal about where chocolate comes from and how it is made. The sampling was yummy!!!

Thank you for your review and wishing to come back again. We are only able to run tours when, the factory is actually in production. At present this excludes weekends. Occasionally, due to other constraints, it can mean that we are not able to run tours during the week. This is one of the reasons why, we ask for bookings... More

Excellent staff member who was very informative, approachable and engaging. Chocolate was yummy too. Daughter thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and can not wait to show her friends at school. We hope to visit again on the new premises.

I can highly recommend a visit here. We, two adults and two children aged 5yrs and 9yrs, visited The Chocolate Factory during the summer holidays. Going on a Monday meant that we were lucky enough to be in a small group - just us and one other couple! The lady giving the tour was fantastic - so friendly and informative... More

We went here for a rainy day out. It took ages to find as there wasn't even a proper sign on the building. It was then dirty and dodgy looking on a run down industrial site so we didn't even go in! The chocolate may be good according to other reviews but the outside put us off. Will stick to... More

Thank you for your comments. We are a real working factory, based on an industrial estate and as such we appreciate that, the appearance of our building is not what might be expected. However, a tour of the Chocolate Factory more than makes up for any initial adverse reaction. You may be pleased to learn that, many of our clients... More

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, I'm sorry to hear that you were unable to get in contact with us. Unfortunately the Factory undergoes a factory shut down every Easter period, during this time ther are very little staff on site to answer the phones. However, there was a message on our website informing our customers... More

Four adults and two children aged 3 and 8 arrived at the factory to a lovely welcome. The lady who gave the talk and tour was very informative and approachable. My kids thought she was lovely. The chocolate just kept on coming to the point where we couldn't eat anymore. The children even got to decorate there own chocolate bar... More

Had a lovely afternoon with my daughter and her family at the Chocolate Factory. We all found it really interesting especially being able to see up close all the different stages of processing the chocolate. The children especially enjoyed decorating their own bar of chocolate. The marshmallows dipped in chocolate went down really well. All in all, although not on the... More

I imagined it would be bigger, I have been to the cadbury world factory and this place is tiny in comparison but you do get the personal touch. Just about found the place and the parking isn't actually defined very well, but ample for the amount of people they have coming through the doors. The initial stage is sitting in... More

Thanks for taking the time to write your review and I’m very glad to hear that you enjoyed your visit. It’s true that we are a relatively small chocolate factory – our factory is some 40,000sq ft, while the production area that is open to the public only comprises a small part of this (for obvious health & safety reasons)....
